Marco
Gedo sighed as he finished one more pack of his popcorn, while I groaned with the tightness of my pink handcuffs. Having already spoken of my story to the Lord of Nether Realm, I felt fatigue overtaking me.
With only one wing from my demonic self and with no powers as a Grim Reaper, I could feel my life force being drained from the handcuffs; it wouldn't be long before I become a shell empty of life but still alive.
Yes, that is the madness of this Realm, that's why Demons and Angels fear it. And Gedo wants to keep me alive just before I start rotting in here, trapped on a stone tied with my punishment.
Marco...
Ana? That sound, how much I longed for the sound of her voice. But I was sure that she wouldn't be here, unless she was idiot enough to jump into the entrance to the Nether Realm.
I raised an eyebrow with question. No she couldn't have. At least I could hope for that. I would disappear from her life even if that meant that she could hate me; but at least she would be saved from the Angels and especially Machias who would gladly kill her, just to make sure if she was in her.
"So what happened? You waited for Auge to come, that was the point you stopped talking." Gedo reminded my point of the story
Fuck him; I didn't want to speak anymore! It had become painful once again speaking about the past. But with no powers I was a weakling in front of him. Playing his game was the only thing I could do.
"What the?" Gedo snarled behind me and I titled my head back, trying to see why he was swearing.
"What's wrong?"
Strangely the masked man was heard surprised, angry.
But his mask from 'V' movie didn't betray any emotion. He closed his cell phone by pressing the lock button and slid it into his jeans. He came again to my side and sat on the stone, where I was lying, by crossing his feet and leaning his head on his hand.
"So, what was that?" I dared to ask to the masked man.
"Axius got emotional again and it seems that he caused quite a rampage on the Third Circle." Gedo commented boringly.
Axius? That ex-Grim Reaper was still alive?
"I see you frowning. Were you a friend of his?"
"No, not at all. He went against D's rules and I expelled him from the Company."
I still remembered that time, how hard I had to fight but that guy was humiliated before all the Grim Reaper of Death Inc., and they were many.
"Anyway, that has no importance now. Continue with the story." He added strictly and I rolled my eyes on him.
---------------------
I waited for Auge, sitting on one of the branches of our tree. Even if she wouldn't find me on the human settlement, my Angel would know that I would be here. Since the night she flew back to the Heaven Realm, I spent the next two days close to the human boy, observing him from boredom, careful not to get him hurt.
With Auge's hairpin, pinned on the inside of my black leather jacket, I could feel her closer to me. My encounter with her had changed me somehow; it was not only her beauty or her courage but also her cocky and considerate nature. If it wasn't for the Law I would have already taken our...thing to the next level.
I groaned displeased with this thought and looked at the sky. It was the third morning without her and everything seemed to be dead to me; had I become so intoxicated with her?
