The story so far......

December of 1988 Tokyo kamurocho a low ranking yakuza of the Tojo clan kiryu kazauma is collecting a debt from a salary man for a loan shark, the salary man is beaten with a inch of his life. Kiryu being the Chad he is leaves the poor beta male in a important empty lot and this is were we see kamurocho or the red light district full with bars street thugs, Yakuza. We then meet Akira Nishikiyama Kiryu's best friend they got to the disco club for a. The next morning kiryu-Chad finds out that the salary man was found dead in the same alley way Kiryu reports to Dojima Family office for a meeting with the Family's three lieutenants ( The Dojima family is a the part of the tojo clan and is the family kiryu is in) Daisaku kuza , Hiroki Awano, Keji shibusawa these guys are assholes and believe kiryu shot the man but wait a Damn minute kiryu didn't shoot the salary man that can only mean that he's being framed. 

The lieutenants don't believe Kiryu story and insist that he must turn himself in. As it turns out, the Empty Lot where the man was murdered is in the middle of a portion of land that the city of Tokyo plans to buy for a massive redevelopment project ( This shit is important because if they buy that lot it means a lot of fucking money and this where the main conflict with Majiama the second main character story comes in). Ok class pay the fuck attention because I'm writing this twice When the lieutenants inform him that Patriarch Dojima has offered the position of Family Captain to whichever one of them acquires the Empty Lot for him, Kiryu suspects one of them is behind the murder and is trying to frame him so they can hold his foster father kazama responsible and remove him from the Family as well. After a brief investigation, Kiryu confirms that it was Kuze who set him up , but hey I told you these guy are awesome but kiryu get to kick their ass later so that a plus.

Kiryu seeks advice from Nishikiyama and there family friend Osama Kashiwagi, Osama tells kiryu the only way for his foster father to not not go to jail is to be expelled from the Family. But that would require the Patriarch's approval. Convinced that this is the only way, Kiryu decides to seek out the Patriarch and ask him for that, despite Kashiwagi and Nishiki's objections aka they bitch slap my man kiryu because there is a high chance that kiryu will die.

Kiryu combat is pretty he has you have four modes of attacking Brawler just basic kick and punches, Rush this mode makes his attack and movement speed faster but you do less damage, beaststars oh sorry i mean beast this mode make kiryu slower but kiryu does a lot of damage and the weapons mode every thing is a weapon in kamurocho bikes,salt,soup, hell sometimes other people this weapons do degrade for each time you not some thing with it. The last mode i save for later beacuse you get in the later chapter.  Kiryu get stronger with each fight this allows him to become the protector of kamurocho and later the legendary Dragon of Dojima 

Ok back to the story

Kiryu barges into the Dojima Family offices, trying to find the Patriarch, but he is intercepted by Kuze. The two battle until they are interrupted by the other two lieutenants and Patriarch himself. Kuze is berated for being beaten by a low-ranking thug and is forced to cut off one of his pinkies(he had it coming) Kiryu is expelled from the Family by Dojima but is informed that despite this, if the police do arrest him and convict him for the murder, then Kazama will still have to be expelled from the Family. When Kiryu protests, Dojima tells him that he is a civilian now and there is nothing he can do to change his mind.
