Dakotas POV

After pacey left , I grabbed my things and walked downstairs . I bet it's beautiful around the boardwalk . I heard they just added an amusement park/fair to it earlier this year . I'll have to tell pacey about it seeing she loves to try new things .
I walked outside , sliding the door shut behind me . I looked over to see pacey playing guitar . Bet it's beautiful as always. I walked around the house heading for the boardwalk. The lights from the rides in the distance standing out . It's absolutely stunning here . I smiled to myself making my way down the streets just to see what's here . It was calm and peaceful . That was until I was on the ground within seconds . I looked up noticing a handsome boy , around my age , with sunglasses on .
" Oh my god I'm so sorry . I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and my brother was chasing me " he said before sticking out his hand to help me up . I slowly took it and helped myself up . I groaned in pain . I must've hit my head because dizziness took over . I reached for my head trying to make it better , but it didn't help . I looked at the boy . " it's okay . Just be careful . You never know if someone could get seriously injured ". I let go of his hand before walking away . " wait !" He screamed after me . He ran up beside and we stopped . " yes?" I said with a hint of annoyance in my voice , since my night turned into me getting hurt .
" can I walk with you ?" He pleaded . I thought about it for a second , before nodding my head yes . We slowly started walking again . " so , what's your name beautiful " he asked curiously . " Dakota . What about you ? " he slowly took his glasses off . I became wide eyed , seeing the boy I love the most Infront of me . Hayes Grier . " so I guess you know who I am then ? " I quickly nodded my head before blushing .

" we've gotta get you home . It's 11:30 pm . " hayes screamed before quickly getting up . He grabbed my hand and we headed back home . After he told me who he was , he took me out for Ice cream as an apology . I wasn't complaining . I was with hayes after all ! " here we are " I said before walking up the steps . He looked over at the beach house next door . He turned his head back towards me . " guess were neighbors then . " he grabbed his phone out of his back pocket and then handed it to me. " do you think I can have your number ?" I took his phone and blushed , before nodding . I typed in my number as " Kota 💖 " and handed it back . " I'll text you gorgeous " he leaned in and kissed my cheek . He winked at me before walking off my porch and over to his . Before going inside he turned around , waved , and then went inside . I waved back laughing . I slid open the door and slid down in covering my face . I just met Hayes Grier . And he kissed my cheek ...
