Paceys POV

I grabbed my guitar before heading downstairs . Once I reached the bottom , I walked outside of the screen door leading on to the back porch . I sighed slowly looking around . I looked next door seeing the boy I got a glimpse of while me and Dakota were playing in the water , walking off the porch heading towards the shore . I slowly walked down the steps making my way to the water. Tears rolled down my face . I closed my eyes , before wiping them . My phone made a dinging sound . I grabbed my phone seeing Daniel tweet . " at this beautiful beach with an amazing view . " I laughed slightly feeling better , but then thinking he wouldnt be here .
I walked farther down the shore taking in it's beauty . I wish I could stay here forever . I sat down with my guitar and started strumming to " Maybe " . Slower than the original version .
" I never looked at you the way , I did tonight and now your face , your lips , your eyes , you're stuck inside of my head " I continued to sing the song slowly and softly . Once I was finished I set my guitar aside and looked out into the beautiful body of water Infront of me .
I heard clapping behind me . I quickly turned around . There was that boy who I caught earlier walking off of his porch . He slowly took his glasses off revealing a very attractive boy . A boy I've been waiting to meet for almost 2 years . Daniel Skye . " oh my ... T-thank you " I croaked out . He shook his head . " are you okay? You look a little upset " . He questioned sympathetically . I looked back at the waves . " I mean , you don't have to tell me I'm sorry " I shook my head no . " it's fine . I'll tell you " he took my hand slowly , smiling at me leading me along the shore .
" it was 2009 . The beginning of summer . My grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer . Recently he's not been doing good . My bestfriend doesn't know what my mom just called me about . The do- I'm sorry " I said sobbing quietly . He pulled me in closer . " it's okay you don't have to go on " I wiped my eyes still sobbing . " the doctor said he's not going to make it past tonight . He's only got about another hour . " I said sadly . He held into me tightly . " I'm truly sorry . I went through something like that too . it'll be okay beautiful . You'll get through this . "
We sat down in the sand . After about 10 minutes i had officially calmed down . " so , what's your name ? I dont mean to sound stalkerish but I seen you singing at the beach earlier too . You have a beautiful voice " . I blushed because my celebrity crush held me , called me beautiful , and complimented my voice . " Pacey . Pacey Jones " I looked up at him . " that's a unique name . I like it . " he smiled down at me . " I'm Dan-" I stopped him .
" I know who you are . " I blushed looking out into the water . " You're kinda my favorite singer . " he didn't say anything for a while . I felt a hand on my right cheek moving it to look at him . " you're kinda my favorite singer too . After I heard that voice , it's been stuck in my head all day . " he sent his signature million dollar smile . Making me instantly smile .
" c'mon gorgeous . It's getting late . " he said getting up , and reaching down to grab my hand . I grabbed his hand doing my part to get up . We slowly walked back to the beach houses . He bumped into me a few times playfully , or I'd see him look at me and smile at the floor in the corner of my eye . I can't believe the first time I met my idol was today . We walked up to the porch of my beach house . He looked down at his feet fiddling with my fingers , still holding my hand . He looked up slowly until he met my eyes . I looked up Into his brown eyes . I took in his features . I never thought I'd be this close . His tall skinny figure hovering above me was unreal . He started blushing . " do you think I could maybe get your number ? Id love to hang out . If that's okay with you . " he said taking me back to reality . I nodded smiling before trading phones . I typed in my number putting in my contact as " Pacey 💋💋 " I handed him his phone back him doing the same to me . " cool . Good night beautiful . And remember . I'm here if you need anything . I'm so sorry about your grandfather . It'll get better . I promise . " he let go of my hand slowly while walking down the steps . " See you tomorrow Pacey . " I nodded . " goodnight Daniel . I'll be sure to see you aswell . " I watched him walk back to his beach house . I walked inside biting my lip and walked up to my room getting ready to fall into a comfortable sleep , taking in what just happened .
