"The stars are out..." Ky whispered to herself, she was alone at a small park, on a swing.

Ky would usually go to the same spot at the park when she needed someone to talk to, she would sneak out of her house, away from her toxic household, and to a land where time is still. She would talk to the moon and stars because they were the only ones that listened. Ky was there pretty often, mainly on Saturdays, and just throughout the week but never on Fridays. Friday is when everyone is out partying and drinking while she stayed home listening to her parents argue.

Ky looked up at the moon, scanning its entire surface before spilling out her thoughts to it. Ky closed her eyes, " I'm back... I think you know the reason why...my parents" she opened her eyes slightly then closed them again, trying to stop herself from crying. "I thought they would get through it...I really did.. but I guess nothing really goes the way you want it to.." She paused , taking in a shaky breath of cold air as the wind blows.

"It's like they forget i'm there...I thought about leaving or escaping but...where can I go?" A tear rolled down her cheek, she was on the verge of breaking but still, she carried on, "I can't go to any of my family, they would just send me back, and so would my friends..I want to leave but I know it would break my parents..maybe...they wouldn't even notice, they haven't noticed how skinny I've gotten..so I doubt they'd notice me leaving or dying!"

Ky broke, she was bawling her eyes out. There was no one to listen to her or support her, It was just her, the moon, and the stars. Ky kept sobbing quietly, not hearing a twig snap behind her. Another snapped, this time Ky heard it. She turned her head quickly to see who it was, tears still falling down her face. " Are you okay?" A boy asks, Ky's face goes pale and then quickly turns red from embarrassment.  "E-Eli?" Ky started to cry harder, "Hey...what's wrong? You can tell me.." Eli was one of the popular boys at school, all about looks and girls. No one really knew anything about him, he was very mysterious, even to his friends.

"W-what are you doing here?" Ky asked, through sobs. "This isn't just your park, you're not the only lonely soul out there. Eli pulled Ky into a hug and chuckled as he spoke, "I heard what you were talking about... you're not the only one with parental issues Ky.." he stopped laughing, Ky looked at him, eyes wide.

"You're not going to tell anyone at school about this, r-right?" Ky was on the verge of tears again. "Of course not!" Eli laughed again, "Why would I tell anyone about our secret spot?" Ky blushed at his words, "our?" she asked which made Eli laugh harder.

"You're red like a tomato." Eli settled down on a swing next to Ky, "and yes, our place" he chuckled again.

"So...Eli, why are you actually here?" Ky asked, trying not to sound rude, "Oh? yeah..It's just crazy at home...I come here to talk to the- Eli was cut off by Ky, "moon and stars" she said looking into his eyes, she blushed, "So..you came here for the same reason then.." Ky blushed as she noticed Eli slightly turning red.

"Yeah...crazy households" Ky turned a darker shade of red when Eli held her hand. "Can we just sit here like this...with the stars and moon?" Eli asked, offering a sad but happy smile.

"Sure.." as the night went on, Ky and Eli had gotten closer and closer to each other until Ky had sat in Eli's lap. Both of them turning a bit of pink.

"The stars are beautiful, aren't they?" Ky looked up at the stars and moon again, yeah...they are beautiful, she realized she never answered Eli. "Y-yeah they are" she half whispered-half yelled. "But do you know what's more beautiful?" Eli asked as Ky looked him directly in his eyes, shaking her head.

"You" Ky's eyes widened as Eli crashed his lips into hers, it was like all her problems were solved right then and there. She was happy, confused, surprised, and excited, all at the same time. Ky started to kiss back as she melted into the kiss and moaned slightly, giving Eli a chance to slide his tongue in. Eventually the both pulled away for air. Eli smiled and winked.

"The stars are nothing, when compared to you..."
