Talia's POV

"Something Big I feel it happening, out of my control..." I sang in my room as I danced around- my long light brown hair twirling around me.

My little brother Chase knocked on my door but I didn't hear him. He opened the door and yelled, "Would you please turn that down, I'm trying to do my math homework! I'd like to get it done early!"

I rolled my eyes and turned it down a bit as he walked out the door. While I procrastinate, he's being a smart 12 year old and getting his homework done early. Winter Break just started yesterday, so it was a quiet Saturday morning. Everybody wanted to sleep in after the long year, and they did. Well, until I started blasting Shawn Mendes.

I love Shawn Mendes' music. His voice is amazing and 'Something Big' is definitely one of my favorites. His EP album is to die for. I wish I hadn't been at my grandparent's house when he came to Washington DC- which is only a 3 hour drive from my house. That was a miserable day.

But now, Shawn has released a Twitter hashtag called #20DaysofSomethingBig. He has a surprise at the end of the year for the fandom and I can't wait. It could be a million different things.

I just hope that I'll get to meet him. Or at least see him in concert. Although I love him, I never show it at school. It's not easy being somewhat popular and risking being labeled as a 'fangirl'. There are some mean people in this world who don't understand. But, forget about them. Shawn still means a lot to me.

He did help me through some hard times with his beautiful voice.
