Your alarm clock wakes you up once again! It's 5 in the morning and unfortunately you have school again. You put on your uniform, a white shirt and a black skirt with a red tie and long black socks.
As you walk down the stairs your cat follows behind you. As you reach the table you are able to smell something egg-like... an omelet maybe? As you reach the ground floor of your house you take a look at the dinner table, there was an omelet waiting for you just like you guessed! As you sit down to take a bite out of the omelet your mother gives you a cup of orange juice and a plate with apple slices. As you eat it you decide to text Kenma to tell him where you could meet.
As you put down your phone you smile just thinking about seeing Kenma again. You finish eating quickly and went upstairs again to brush your teeth.
You put on your shoes and also grab your backpack that was filled with books. As soon as you get downstairs you remember that you forgot to feed the cat. You quickly fill the cat's food bowl and leave the house
As you are walking down the street you see a familiar face. Kuroo? Was that his name? Feeling shy you decide to ignore it and keep walking until you both reach the bus stop. As you pull out your phone to check the time you hear the tall black haired boy call for Kenma that was walking down the street playing games on his Nintendo. You look at Kenma and he waves. He quickly crosses the street and starts to introduce you to Kuroo "Kuroo this is the girl I told you about" He says very calmly as he had just woken up "Her name is y/n and she also plays games, we go to the same school as her" The tall black haired boy looked and you and smiled. You just stand there not knowing what to do so you just smile awkwardly at him. "y/n, this is Kuroo. My childhood friend and neighbor". He yawns and just walks to school followed by Kuroo, that was walking besides him and you, you were walking behind them very awkwardly...
As you finally start to reach school Kenma stops walking to put his Nintendo back into his bag. So you three just stand there awkwardly. You keep your hands behind your back at all times trying to look comfortable but it was obvious you weren't. Kenma looks at Kuroo trying to communicate without speaking and surprisingly he understood. You look at both of them confused but the tall black haired boy decides to break the ice. "y/n do you have any friends outside school?" He asks. For some reason that question made you think. You have lots of online friends but you don't really know anyone... "Not really to be very honest. I prefer staying indoors so I don't usually interact with people" After you said that a whole different conversation starts. You get lost talking. It was just so interesting. You loose track of time and reach your destination, the school. "Ahhh~ I've never had this much fun talking to someone" You laugh under your breath. Kenma somehow heard it and smiled.
As you are in class you notice Kenma using his phone. Since you sit right behind him you throw a paper ball in his head causing it to get stuck there without him even noticing. In a complete silent class you start laughing a bit causing the whole class to laugh for some reason. No one knew what was going on, but the fact of someone laughing in a completely silent classroom had the same effect of a person with the flu sneezing in a closed room full of people, it was contagious. Everyone was just laughing, even the teacher not understanding what happened. Kenma looks back at you, you were dying of laughter. As he moves his hear the paper ball falls from his hair into the floor you you start to cry of laughter. Such a good class.
Recess finally arrives and the two colored hair boy asked what happened during class that made you laugh to the point of crying. You explain what happened and he just turns red. Kenma soon remembers a gift that he got from a 'mysterious' person in a game. He takes out his Nintendo that was inside his bag and shows it to you. "It was in my inventory some days ago. I didn't know what to do thinking it belonged to someone so I asked people around the server and tuns out it didn't belong to anyone. I think the creator made it for me. I'm very happy haha" He laughs. You look away, you were blushing because of his cute reaction. Kuroo approaches you and the two colored hair boy asking what was going on that made you blush. Kenma's face turns back to normal again like if he was hiding his emotions or something. You are able to control your breathing and turn back to normal. "Me blushing? Pfffft. Nope." You say in a jokingly voice to the tall black haired boy. "Haha I know, I know." You and Kenma stand up from the bench and leave with Kuroo to go get something to drink from the cafeteria.
The day went by quickly. You weren't assigned homework since it was the first day and you were able to go straight home. But you didn't. It was the perfect opportunity! Kuroo left school early because he had something to do and you could not let this opportunity slide. "Hey Kenma do you want to go to that new game shop that opened some days ago?" You ask the two colored hair boy. He nods and you both leave school grounds together.
You were almost arriving at your destination when you saw Hinata across the street. "Shit" You whisper under your breath. You grab Kenma's hand and run to the store. He seemed very confused but was too embarrassed to even say a word. When you finally reach the store you notice that once again you did something awkward. "I'm sorry!" You start blushing and notice that he was as red as a tomato. You try ignoring what happened but you couldn't help but keep your distance after the incident.
As you finally say goodbye you apologize again and go your way. You really were not able to forget what happened.
You finally reach your house and run upstairs burying your head on a pile of plush animals you had. You turn your body around facing the ceiling but the only thing in your mind was Kenma's smile.
