You put down your phone, your heart starts to beat faster but nothing out of the ordinary. You tried standing up from bed but your head hurt. You brushed your hair and teeth, changed your pijamas into your school uniform and went downstairs to grab a cup of water. Your mother gives you your lunch and you leave the house not eating breakfast.
You started getting closer to the bus stop and heard a familiar voice coming from behind "Oh look! If it isn't y/n!" Kuroo wraps his arms around your shoulder. "Morning!" You tell the two boys. "Morning" They both answer. You started walking to school, Kuroo was explaining the last game they had against Fukurodani. It was a remach, and fortunately, Nekoma won! You told them about this new game that was coming out and Kenma was hearing every word carefully, even if it looked like he wasn't. It was a high school simulator or something like that. Kuroo got a little tired of talking about games and mentioned their next game, Nekoma vs Karasuno. Your jaw dropped at every word that left his mouth. Your cousin Hinata played for Karasuno and you didn't want to hurt his feeling by cheering for Nekoma but you also didn't want to hurt Kenma's feeling by cheering for Karasuno. Your mind was divided in two, even if it didn't look or sound like a big deal, you knew you would end up hurting someone.
You, Kenma and Kuroo finally reached the school gate and headed inside. You both say goodbye to Kuroo, since he was a year older he was from another class. As you said goodbye to your tall black haired friend you felt a shadow covering you and you looked up. It was that super tall grey haired first year, Lev! "Oh hi Lev didn't see you there...!" You said awkwardly looking up. "But I surely saw you y/n! You are so tiny haha!" Yaku came from behind and kicked his butt. "It's not nice to make fun of other people because of their height you lamp post!" Lev fell to the ground and Yaku looked at you "Oh hi y/n! Nice morning isn't it?" You smiled at him, still a little shocked that someone his height could take down a giraffe human. Kenma tapped your shoulder, saying that you were going to be late if you didn't go to class now. You said good bye to everyone and left.
After some boring classes it was finally recess, you sat down to eat your lunch on the rooftop when you remembered that you wanted to ask Hinata about his game against Nekoma. You took your phone out from you pockets, yes, your skirt had pockets! And searched for Hinata's number.
You hung up after you got the information you needed, "Next Tuesday hmm?" A familiar voice comes from behind. "y/n" You can hear Kenma coming from behind the heavy metal door. "Are you done with your food?" He asks you "How did you even know where I was and that I was eating?" You ask him with a confused but happy expression. "Well, I could hear your voice from the other side of the door, I was charging my phone. Where you talking to Hinata?" You nod "He was telling me when you were going to play" His eyes widen "So you want to see me play again?" Your face turns all kinds of red and you start looking around to avoid eye contact "Yeah you could say that haha" He blushes and looks away walking to the door to go get his phone. "See you later y/n" He looks at you and waves. You smile and he closes the door.
