It was a tiring day for you. School was killing you with the amount of work they gave you and on top of that you had a game to finish. Even though all these things made you tired you could always look forward to the end of the day, where you would walk home with Kenma and sometimes Kuroo, yes, they did have volleyball practice so sometimes it was impossible but when they had the option to walk home with you, they would.
The day was almost over and your teacher was giving you homework, when you opened your diary to write it down and suddenly your phone vibrated. Kenma was messaging you. You weren't in the same classroom since you had different time schedules, on Wednesdays you had English and he had Technology in the end of the day. You slowly took your phone out of your pockets to answer the message without letting your teacher notice.
As you were about to write 'thank you!' your teacher caught you. "Excuse me, what are you doing young lady?" She said in a mocking voice. You froze but slowly lift your head up looking at the woman that was standing besides you. "Put your phone away or I'll take it with me!" She hissed and walked away staring at you as you tucked you phone away in your bag.
Class was finally over and you were in front of Kenma's classroom waiting. You had your bag on the floor and your phone in your pockets, you were leaning on the way with your eyes closed waiting for the boy.
Around five minutes went by and Kenma finally came out of the classroom, apparently he was also caught texting you but his teacher was more strict, and made him and the whole class wait five minutes until they could finally leave. Kenma came out of his classroom with his bag hanging from his left shoulder and an annoyed expression on his face. "Y-You ok?" You asked the obviously angry boy. "Not really" He exhaled and led you to the gym, where practice was going to take place.
Since most of the team was wearing formal uniform you had to wait until they changed, as you sat on the bench awkwardly waiting for the boys a girl approached you from behind and scared you, making you jump a little. It was Akane! Yamamoto's younger sister and also the leader of the cheering squad. She sits next to you and you start chatting about random things. "Wait, wait, wait. y/n, I have a very important question to ask you" You nodded a little confused from the sudden change in the subject. "Are you and Kenma dating?" You almost choke on the water you were drinking. "No no! It's nothing like that! We are just FRIENDS!"She frowns, a little disappointed with your answer. "Hmmmm... So there's nothing going on?" She makes a sad puppy face and looks at you. "No!" You hear the door to the boy's locker room open. "y/n!" Yamamoto screams as he runs in your direction. "Have you made up your mind yet?!" He asks impatiently. After some seconds you could see a small shadow running in Yamamoto's direction and high kicking him in the butt. "YAMAMOTO" Yaku pulls him by his ear "Oh hi y/n! How are you?" He smiles. A little scared you smile back awkwardly. "Alright, alright, just because y/n is here it doesn't mean we can slack off" Kuroo comes from behind the group of people around you "Let's get to work" Everyone walks behind Kuroo, following him to the middle of the court to discuss what they would train today.
After watching them train for some time you decide to go outside for some fresh air. As soon as you leave the gym you could see a small shadow approach you. A cat! You crouch down to pet it and hear the gym door open, making a loud noise. You looked behind you to find Kenma walking towards you and crouching down to pet the cat too. "Aren't you supposed to be inside?" You ask the boy. "Practice is over for today" You both look down at the cat and an awkward silence fills the night. "I- I'm going back inside to grab my stuff, do you want me to bring yours too?" You look at him and he shakes his head. "Hey y/n look over there" He points to your right "I don't see anything-" He cuts you off kissing your cheek lightly and leaving the same second so you couldn't see his face. You freeze forgetting about everything that was going on around you. You face turn all different kinds of red and pink and your heart starts to beat faster. Your ears turn hot and your hands start to shake. After a minute you finally realized what Kenma did. He kissed you on the cheek.
