As Ash held Serena in his arms afraid of letting her go, Serena found herself daydreaming. She couldn't believe anything that was happening. Suddenly, the two hear someone shout their names.

"Ash, Serena where are you?" Clemont yelled from afar

Ash and Serena broke the hug but kept their eyes locked. Ash felt himself drowning in Serena's beautiful blue eyes. He had never seen such blue colour in her eyes. He had never even seen the spark the moonlight created in Serena's eyes.

"There you two are! I was looking all over for you! Bonnie is asleep already. We'll leave this place tomorrow morning, so Serena would be able to go on her date with Jimmy and Ash could train in the morning!" Clemont said happily as he planed the whole day

Serena and Ash didn't stop staring deeply into the eyes of each other. The way it made them feel, just a simple look, would make them be in cloud nine. Ash was completely astonished at how beautiful he found Serena to be. Indeed he knew she was pretty but he never looked at her the way he was looking now. Every detail about her would make her even more perfect than she already was.

"Are you two listening to me?" Clemont asked. He was confused. He realised the way Ash and Serena were acting towards each other ever since Jimmy arrived. He knew something was bothering Ash and now he was sure what it was. But Clemont also knew Ash would always have Serena's heart. He wished he would find a girl who would look at him the way Serena looked at Ash. It was pretty obvious the way she felt towards Ash. However, Ash was very dense. He didn't know Serena's feelings for him. Clemont wondered what would be Ash's reaction when he found out what Serena felt.

"Sorry, yes we were listening" Serena broke the silence and the eye contact between Ash and her.

"Let's go to bed so tomorrow we have the energy to continue our journey to Snowbelle city," Ash said, "Where is Jimmy anyways?"

"He told me he would stay in a nearby pokémon centre, preparing his date with Serena. He asked us to join him tomorrow." Clemont said

"Then let's go to bed. He all need to rest it was a long day" Serena said

Ash wondered if she was really excited for her date with Jimmy. She must be. She wouldn't say yes if she didn't want to go.

Continuing their journey to Snowbelle City, our heroes are exploring the nearby pokémon centre Jimmy told them about.

"This battlefield is awesome, perhaps you and big brother could have a battle!" Bonnie said towards Ash. She was always very excited to watch a battle, especially if she could cheer for someone.

"What do you say Clemont? Want to have a battle? Perhaps we could understand more about Greninja and his form with me" Ash turned to his friend. Clemont smiled and nodded.

"Hello, guys! It's great to see you again!" The gang turned around to find Jimmy with a picnic basket. Bonnie smiled as she couldn't believe Serena was going on a date. Clemont smiled politely, he didn't fancy Jimmy. He wasn't a bad person. Ash just glared at him. He hated Jimmy for some reason.

"Hi Jimmy," Serena said. The others said hi as well, except Ash who just nodded.

"I came to pick Serena, hope you guys don't mind," Jimmy said taking Serena's hand in his. Ash once again felt a beating feeling, he wanted to punch Jimmy so badly in the face. But also he was hurting inside. He didn't like to see Serena with that loser.

"We'll see you later Serena!" Bonnie said hugging the young performer

"Have fun you two!" Clemont said hugging Serena as well. Serena and Clemont were like brother and sister. They loved each other in a brotherly way. He was protective over her as well. Ash ran to Serena's side and without thinking hugged her and said "Be careful and have fun! I would have preferred you stay here and cheered me on on my battle. But I'm happy if you're happy" Ash blushed at what he said and so did Serena who broke the embrace. She looked at Ash's eyes and smiled brightly.

"I'm sure you are going to win! You and your pokémons have such a great bond! I wish I could see the battle and cheer you on. You can tell me everything about it later when I get back!" Serena answered still blushing

"And you will tell me about your date" Ash smiled although he preferred not hearing anything about it, he wanted to make sure Serena had passed the day safely.

Serena and Jimmy waved at the group and left. Ash kept looking at the two as they got far still holding hands. He envied Jimmy's luck to be with Serena. He somehow felt the need to follow them to make sure Serena would be safe throughout the day. He turned to Clemont and Bonnie who seemed pretty shocked at Ash's behaviour towards Serena.

"What if before the battle, we go for a walk in the woods?" Ash asked, not even realising the true reason he wanted to go there.

"Yeah, I guess we can go. Perhaps if you wouldn't mind I would stay here and finish one of my inventions" Clemont said

"Sure thing. What about you Bonnie? Want to come?" Ash asked

"I'll stay with my big brother maybe I'll find him a wife more easily in here rather than the woods"

"Ok then. I'll see you guys" Ash said

He remembered where Serena and Jimmy had gone so he decided to go the same way. Not to spy on them of course, it just seemed like a nice place to go for a walk. Pikachu looked at his trainer, he knew perfectly something was bothering him and if he acted the way Pikachu was previewing Ash to act, he would retreat it.

Ash followed the path until he started to hear some laughter coming from a cliff. He found a bush and hide. He saw Jimmy and Serena were sitting having a picnic. The landscape around them was indeed beautiful and very romantic.
He could hear perfectly Serena's laughter it was so perfect... Then an idea came to his mind. If randomly started to rain the picnic would be ruined and they couldn't go on their date anymore.
"Greninja come on out," Ash said, the blue Pokemon looked around. No enemies or battle. He wondered why his trainer had sent him out. "I need you to use water pulse in the river so it will create some sort of rain" Greninja looked surprised at his trainer's request but he did anyways
Serena and Jimmy were calmly talking and joking around when a big bunch of water fell on them. It was like rain yet it wasn't. It was just raining for mere seconds yet they got extremely wet and so did the food who got ruined.
"Oh my God! How did this happen??" Serena yelled shocked at what happened
"I have no idea... I should have chosen a better place sorry" Jimmy said
Jimmy and Serena were both covered in water... The whole picnic was a mess as everything was wet even some food.
Ash stood there and giggled a little. He had no idea why he felt so good by destroying their date...
