~~~~With Ash, Clemont and Bonnie back in their room ~~~

The two siblings with the help of Ash's pokémons carried him to the room. They were shocked when they realised that Ash had followed Serena and Jimmy and ruin their date.

"Why would you guys do this?" Ash said after Clemont closed the door. He wasn't mad at them. He was sad. He didn't have the chance to see what had happened. If Serena and Jimmy would go out again or if that would be it. "I just needed to know how that ended"

Clemont and Bonnie both looked at each other. They wanted to help Ash.

"Ash, what exactly did you do?" Clemont asked

"Nothing... I just followed them to see how it went" Ash lied. He wasn't sure if he should tell them the truth.

"Ash," Bonnie said in a fierce voice with her hands on her hips. Although she was only 8 years old, she was very aggressive when she needed to. "Stop lying to us"

"I'm not lying. I didn't do anything" Ash lied again.

"I'm sure that's not the truth. You know you can trust us right?" Clemont said putting a hand on his friend's shoulder

"Right. Of course, I know that... It's complicated" Ash replied

"I'm sure it isn't that much. Together we can understand and help. But you need to tell us the truth" Clemont said "And don't be scared. Neither Bonnie nor I will bite you"

Ash chuckled a little. He knew his friends were just trying to help him. Maybe telling them would be for the best. He had no idea where to start. Maybe just telling them what he did today would be enough? No, it wouldn't. That wasn't the problem. It was the consequence of whatever he was feeling. But answering a question at a time would be better. He sighed as he kept his mental fight.

"After I went for a walk, I heard some laughing so I followed and I saw Jimmy and Serena. They were having a picnic... And I have no serious idea why I just asked Greninja to make a whole bunch of waterfall on them so they would be wet and the date would end sooner"

Ash looked at his friends. Their mouths were slightly opened. But their eyes showed curiosity to know more.

"After that, I kept following them and try to ruin their date with every possibility. I threw a rock at Jimmy so he would fall. Then Serena got wet because Jimmy fell and the bottle of water was opened so it fell on her. Jimmy started apologizing then hugged Serena so I asked Pikachu to use thunderbolt on some branches so they would fall right on them... It turned out it fell a really big branch but the two of them got away... And the hug was broke so great"

Clemont and Bonnie were getting more surprise by Ash's behaviour... It was definitely different then what they were used to. The normal, determined, happy Ash had just ruined his friend's date because he was jealous?

"Then they went to this coffee so I asked Pikachu to make Jimmy fall. He ended up pouring coffee at Serena."

"Ash that's insane! Serena could have gotten seriously hurt" Clemont pointed out

"I know that. But I felt the need to do that. "

"Why?" Bonnie asked. She was very smart, so she had a faint idea of what Ash was feeling.

"I don't know," Ash said making his head face the ground

"Don't worry about it! We're here to help. Now sit on the bed. We need to examine you!" Bonnie said

"What?" Ash asked. He was confused

"Trust me," She said and pushed him into the bed. She turned to Clemont and winked at him.

"So Ash, tell us... What did you felt when you were destroying Jimmy and Serena's date?" Clemont asked.
Ash's face states getting warmer. He started blushing a lot and he got nervous.

"Sort of happy. I was relieved that perhaps as it was going so terribly the two of them would end it faster...But I also felt very angry and sad"

"ok... Interesting..." Bonnie said, "You said Jimmy and Serena hugged, right?" Ash nodded " What did you felt?"

"Angry. I wanted to punch his face. But I felt sad and numb"

"What about when you're with Serena..." Ash's head suddenly stops facing the ground and faced Clemont. He was shocked by the question. He hesitated a little but then after thinking about what he felt he answered. His face got redder by every question.

"I feel safe. I feel happy. I feel warm whenever she smiles or laughs. But I also feel nervous around her. I mean like I lose all my confidence."

"Very very interesting!!!" Bonnie said extremely happy. Clemont smirked. He knew exactly what Ash was feeling.

"Now, tel-" Clemont got interrupted by Ash

"I never felt this way before. I had a lot of female friends before Serena. Misty, May, Dawn, Iris but we would always fight. For silly stupid things. With Serena, I can be me. I don't need to fight with her because she understands me and helps me whenever I need it. I have a past with her which I was a fool to forget about. I know her longer than I have even known somebody... She knows me better than I know myself. The way she knew if she woke me I would want to battle even if I was in no condition surprise me a lot but also proved to me that she really knew me and cared. She's perfect in every single way. She has a heart of gold personality. She is so nice and kind. She is always worried about us and her pokémons. She is ready to help everyone. She is not selfish. She puts others in front of her. She is so special. She is beautiful. Her laugh and giggle make me so warm and happy. It's like she completes me. Her blue eyes that whenever I look too long I feel like I'm drowning in her soul. Her short honey blonde hair makes me want to tangle my hands in it. Her body, I mean she is perfect. And sometimes I just want to hug her so I can feel her close to me. She is one of a kind and sometimes I don't want her to be with anyone else. I wished I could call her mine.."

Ash blushed a lot more than with the other questions. He had spoken without realising what he was saying. He looked at Clemont and Bonnie who were smiling. He felt so embarrassed by what he had just said. He just told his friends everything that had been on his mind ever since he met Serena again. Ash and Serena had a past together. Although Ash didn't remember at first, now he did. He treasured it a lot and blamed himself for forgetting something that was so important.

Serena was very important to him, he knew that. But what Clemont said next he didn't know.

"Ash, you are in love with Serena" Ash looked at Clemont surprised...

"Love? I'm in love with her?" Ash asked

"Yes! It's so obvious. I mean you feel nervous around her. The warm feeling you feel it's this" Clemont said pointing at Ash's cheeks who were redder than a tomato "You feel happy and complete with her. But you also felt jealous that means you want her to be yours. You ruined her date with Jimmy because you are in love with her"

A sudden light found it's way to Ash's head. His dense self had been broken. He realized everything he felt, why he felt the way he did. He also realised he couldn't bear to lose Serena again.

"I have to tell her how I feel..." Clemont and Bonnie were taken back by Ash's words " I can 't bear to see her with someone else again. I don't think I will be able to take it... I want her. I want to be with her. I want to call her mine. I'm in love with Serena Yvonne" Ash said chuckling. He was happy. He found his true feelings...
