Jason did well with the alarm; they got up before anyone; they went and got breakfast for everyone. When they got back, everyone was awake. Jason helped Lance out of bed.
Lance- "What's the plan for today?"
Jackson- "Bears!"
They all laugh.
Ava- "Jackson, we are not going to look for bears."
Jackson- "Why?"
Lance- "I'm sure Yogi Bear would trade his pic-in-ic basket for a Ja-cka-son basket."
Ava always had things planned when she brought the kids. This trip was a little different because the guys were with her, and Lance had some limitations. She wanted this trip to be perfect for everyone.
Ava- "What about Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum?"
Lance- "That sounds fun."
Jason- "I think so too."
They all get ready after they eat. They head to the museum. Outside of the museum is a vast revolving ball in the water. It captures Jackson's attention.
Jackson- "Come feel it, Allison. It feels funny."
Allison goes over and puts her hands on it.
Allison- "Ohhh, this is so cool."
Once Allison said that, they all out their hands on it. It's an incredibly cool experience.
Ava- "I checked with the rep at the desk. They said there might be some tight spots, but it's all wheelchair accessible. Where there are stairs, they have elevators."
Lance- "That's great."
They made their way through the museum. Jason helped Lance through the tight spots and rode the elevators with him. Ava took the stairs with the kids.
Lance- "That was amazing."
Lance was pleased after they left. After all, it was his first time really out of the house since the accident. Some of the things they were doing he had never experienced before.
Allison- "I liked the big chair. All of us could sit in that chair at once."
Lance- "What was your favorite part, Addison?"
Addison- "The two-way mirrors. I liked watching the people on the other side, making silly faces."
Jason- "Ohh, that was the best. Your Daddy was being super silly."
Addison- "That's why it was so funny."
Allison- "Can we do the Mirror Maze?"
Ava had been trying to avoid the Mirror Maze because she knew Lance couldn't do it.
Ava- "Allison, Daddy, won't be able to do the Mirror Maze."
The Mirror Maze was something Ava did with them every time they came. She knew Lance couldn't do it.
Lance- "It's ok, Babe. Let them do it. I don't mind waiting. I know you do this every year."
Ava- "Are you sure? We can skip this year."
Lance- "I'm absolutely sure. Go."
