Relief.

Jugheads POV:

    Betty is still nervous about her dad after Joey told her that he was still angry. I really hoped that this week could be used as an escape from all the drama at home. "Guys!" We heard Cheryl about from downstairs. Me and Betty were just unpacking a few things. We walked to the edge of the stairs to where we could see Cheryl. She stood with a bikini top and short and a big smile on her face. "Let's go on the boat!" She practically squealed at us. "There is a boat?" I asked in confusion. I hadn't known that wee was a boat.  "Yep, and a jet ski" Veronica said as she walked down the stairs. "Go get ready, what are y'all waiting for?" She laughed.

    Me and Betty went to our rooms and put our swimsuits on. I couldn't help but get lost when Betty came out in her bikini. "Juggie stop" she laughed and hid herself under a shirt that she pulled Dover her head. "Baby, you're just so beautiful I can't help it" I told her and gave her a loving look. She gave me a long kiss before answering. "Thank you Jug..now lets gooo" she said dragging her last word. She pulled me out of the room and down some stairs where we met everyone else.

   We made our way to the boat and picked out our seats. "Don't get us lost Sweets!" Toni exclaimed as she sat down with Cheryl. "I'll try" he said and started the boat which caused Betty to jump a bit. I laughed and pulled her closer to me.

Time pass

     "Goodnight!" Veronica yelled from upstairs. Me and Betty were still downstairs with Toni and Cheryl. We had been watching a movie. I felt a small push on my shoulder and looked to see Bettys head had fallen and was resting. Her eyes shut peacefully. "Well I guess we're gonna head up to. She's already falling asleep" I said to Toni and Cheryl and I lifted Betty up. "Night guys"

    I laid her down in the bed and got right in next to her. "Goodnight Baby" I said and placed a kiss on her forehead. I thought she had been asleep until she said something. "Night Juggie" she said tiredly and snuggled her head closer into my neck. I could be with her every second of my life and not have one complaint. I loved her so much.

Time pass
The next day

    "Go B" Veronica yelled at Betty as she held onto the rope. We found a rope swing above the water and we all had to try it out. Once we had all gone about 5 times each Betty got confident enough to stand with it. I was in the water waiting for her because of course she was terrified. "I don't guys...maybe I shouldn't" Betty said sheepishly. "Baby!" I called for her "I'm right here, you'll have fun!"

    She gave me an unsure look and I just gave her a reassuring nod. She finally squeezed her eyes shut and let her feet leave the ground. Within seconds she hit the water and everyone cheered for her. "Woohoo!" Toni yelled from the dock. "Go Betty!"
Her head popped up out of the water and her eyes wide. I swam to her quickly and lifted her up under water and began to swim to the dock. "Oh my gosh that was so much fun!" She screamed and began swimming herself. Everyone laughed at her and she climbed up to the rope and went again.

Time pass

    "Dinners done!" Veronica yelled from the kitchen. She cooked burgers for all of us. "Oh yes! I'm starving" I said and sat down with a plate at the table. We ate and talked for a while before I got a phone call. I read the phone dad. "I'll be right back guys" I said and left the room while answering the phone.

"Hello" I said. "Jughead, are y'all having fun?" He asked immediately. "Yea, we are. Betty seems to be better here to" I told him. "Great, well I have some news" he exclaimed happily. It must be good news. "We heard about Hal. He was working with the ghoulies to sell drugs and doing other illegal things, he is in jail." he said. I felt a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders. "Wow, that's great" I breathed out in relief.

    "Jughead!" I heard someone call from the kitchen. "Come here hurry!" They sounded scared. "Uh hey dad that's great but I have to go I think somethings wrong" I said into the phone. "Ok well have fun" he said. Soon the call was ended and I was in the kitchen quickly. "What is it?" I asked frantically and looked to see if Betty was alright. She wasn't there. "Where is she?" I asked them.

    "She got a phone call when you were gone, she didn't answer it but seemed like something was wrong" Veronica said. "She went outside"

    I rushed out the door to see her with her knees to her chest and phone sat beside her. It read 1 missed call from Mom. Why was she calling her? They hadn't talked since Betty came to live with me and my dad "Betts?" I asked and sat beside her. "Juggie, why is she calling?" She asked me quickly. "I don't know baby, why don't you answer maybe she wants to talk to you." I suggested. The phone then started to ring again and of course it was her mom. "She didn't even care about me. She never stopped Hal from hurting me and she barely spoke to me" Betty said and allowed some tears to slip. "Hey look, don't let her ruin your time. Forget she called you and we can deal with it when we get home?" I asked.

    "Sure" Betty smiled and wiped some tears away. "I have good news" I stared. She rose her eyebrows and looked at me. "You dad, he was caught doing illegal things with the ghoulies. He is in jail" I told her. Her mooing dropped open and her eyes widened. "Really?" She asked. "Yes. You don't have to worry about him anymore" I told her. She smiled and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and just enjoyed being there. With her.
