Another Trip

Bettys POV:
2 weeks later.

I absolutely love having my mom around! At first I was nervous and wondered why she had come back. Now we've talked and grown our relationship. I've always wanted a relationship with her. "Betty, how are things?" Toni asked and passed me a coke from the bar. We were at the Whyte Wrym right now for a serpent meeting. "Great actually" I started and smiled at her. "My mom is back and I" she cut me off. "What!" She yelled loudly which gained everyone's attention. She then grabbed my wrist tightly and brought me to a room shutting the door behind us.

"Your mom, As in Alice Cooper?" She asked whit wide eyes. "Y-yea, that's her" I said hesitantly. Why was she acting like this? "Oh my Gosh! She was our Queen, the older serpents are going to flip out" she said excitedly. "They don't know about her yet?" I asked Toni. She shook her head side to side "that must be why we are having a meeting" she suggested. My mouth formed an "O" shape when I realized that must be why we were here. Suddenly we heard cheering and gasps come from the bar.

I ran out to side all the serpent smiling happily at the stage. There they stood. My mom and Dad...oh shit...I mean Fp. Hand in hand smiling at the crowd. Why were they holding hands? I just stared at them in shock. My eyes were wide and I was starting to get anxious. They can't have any type of relationship other than friendship! That would get between me and Jughead. "There you are Betts" Jug said as he approached me. "We just told the serpents that Alice was back. So they are excited" he said and took my hand. "Come with me" she said and pulled me away from Toni.

I found Juggie and I in the office room and I was still shocked. "Betty...what's wrong" Juggie asked me quickly once he realized. "Why were they holding hands?" I asked frantically. Jugs eyes furrowed "huh?" He asked. "Mom and Fp, were holding hands" I told him. He dropped his head in his hands and groaned a bit. "I don't know but, let's just try not to think about that" he suggested with a questioning face. I let out a long sigh before agreeing. "Ok"

Time Pass
1 month

"Hey sweets...oh...sure sounds fun. We'll be there, alright, bye" Jughead said and hung up the phone. "Wanna go camping?" He asked me hopefully. "Sure Juggie" I smiled at him. "Great, were leaving tonight" he said and smiled back before giving me a peck on the lips. "Bring a bathing suit!" He called as he ran up the stairs. I rolled my eyes at him and stood up to go get something to eat from the kitchen. After I'd eaten a burger Jughead came down with 2 bags in his hands. "What's this?" I asked him and pointed to the bags. "This is our tent, and this is a bag of our clothes and stuff" he said picking the other up.

"You packed my stuff up too?" I asked him after he said that. He nodded and set the bags down by the door. He then sat down beside me with a burger of his own to eat. It seemed like we always had pops at home. "I love you Betts" he said out of the blue. Obviously I said it back. "Love you too Juggie" I smirked at him.

Within a minute Mom and Fp came around the corner. "Whoa what's the bags for?" Mom asked and points to them on the ground. "Is that a tent?" Fp asked when he seen it. "Yep" Jug grinned at them. Mom and Fo both furrowed their eyes. "Camping" I added. "Oh that's sounds like fun. With who?" Mom asked me with a huge smile. "Sweets, Roni, Toni, and cheryl, right Jug?" I asked him. He had his mouth full of food so he nodded while he finished it. "Yes, we should be going in about 20 minutes" he said.

Time pass
30 minutes.

"Bye guys" Juggie said and walked out of the front door first. I proceeded to follow him but was stopped my moms voice. "Oh honey wait, here take some bug spray" she said and handed it over to me. I turned and gave it to Jughead who was waiting outside the door for me. "Thanks" I smiled at her and Fp as they waved bye to us. "Betts lets go" Jughead said impatiently. "Ok" I laughed and looked back "bye mom, bye dad" I said and shit the door behind me quickly. We all piled into the Sweet Peas camper and sat down on the couches.

"Sweet Water swimming hole here we come" Sweet pea said as he pulled away. I sat beside Jughead and made conversation with everyone before I soon realized. I stood up quickly and let my face show my thought. "Oh shit" I said quietly under my voice. "What?" Toni asked me and looked worried. "Betty are you ok?" Jug asked and stood up beside me. He put an arm around my and turned me to face him. "Baby what is it he asked me again.

"I called Fp dad..." I told him. He didn't do anything but laugh a tiny bit at me. "What?" I asked him at his laughs. "He is your adopted dad, don't feel bad about it. I bet he is thrilled you called him that" Jughead told me assuringly. "Really?" I asked. He nodded with a smile and pulled me into a hug. I hugged back in relief. Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing. I hoped.
