THIRD PERSON POV
Ms Calendar leans on the table, a wash cloth to her head - Giles sitting, watching her closely next to her.
"How's your head?" he asks he quietly.
"Throbbing." Ms Calendar replies. Camila moves near Giles and he turns to her, uncomfortable and tense.
"Giles, what's going on?" she asks.
"It's...complicated, Camila, and frankly it's private." Giles replies, turning his attention back to Ms Calendar.
"I don't care from private, i care from dead guys attacking us, i care from you Lost Weekending in your apartment." Camila snaps back, flailing her arms. Xander, Willow, Cordelia and Buffy sit and stand respectively at the counter - watching the tense interaction.
"I wasn't...i just had to work out a solution." Giles mutters in response, not turning his attention to her.
"Solution is good. Why don't we share? What's the mark of Eyghon?" Camila retorts, getting increasingly frustrated. Ms Calendar moans a little, rubbing her head with the washcloth.
"This is not your battle, and as your watcher, i'm telling you in no uncertain terms; stay out of it. I've got to get Jenny home." he snaps back, taking a hold of her arm.
"Home. That sounds so good right now." Ms Calendar mumbles and Camila's face softens - from the aggression and in sympathy for Ms Calendar. Giles takes her arm and walks her to the door, and as soon as they exit, Camila turns to the group.
"We have work to do. Willow and Buffy, i want you to find out anything and everything you can about the mark of Eyghon." Camila begins and Willow raises her hand slightly.
"So what Giles just said about staying out of it-"
"Thrill, as i ignore it completely. He needs our help and he's going to get it." Camila replies and Willow nods.
"I can try the net, but the mark of Eyghon sounds like a Giles and his books kind of deal." Willow replies thinking and Buffy nods.
"So we hit the books." Buffy nods, following Willow into the stacks.
"Xander, how do you feel about rifling through Giles' personal files, see if you can shed some light." Camila turns to her once beloved. He lets a soft smile cover his lips at Camila's leadership and his order.
"I feel pretty good about it. Does that make me a sociopath?" he asks confused. Camila smiles before turning to the table, and Cordelia moves next to her.
"What?" Camila asks.
"What about me? I care about Giles." she replies and Camila nods towards Giles' office.
"Work with Xander."
"Well, when i say 'care', i mean-"
"Cordelia." Camila interrupts and Cordelia is taken aback.
"Okay, okay." she insists, getting up to help Xander. Camila sits down at the table before immediately getting back up again and pacing around the room. Willow and Buffy remain behind the stacks, Cordelia in Giles' office and Xander pokes his head out of the door frame.
"Cam?" he asks and Camila continues to pace, biting on her fingernail. "Cam." he calls again but she continues to pace, her hands trembling. From the door frame, Xander watches as she paces before turning and going into the cage, searching the shelves. He sighs, leaning against the door frame watching as she searches the shelves her trembling hands dusting the covers.
