THIRD PERSON POV
Sunnydale High should be completely empty.
"This is not right." Cordelia complains. Ms Calendar, Willow, Xander and Cordelia move down the hall towards the computer lab. "School on a Saturday? That throws off my internal clock."
"When are we going to have to use computers in real life, anyway?" Xander asks and Ms Calendar looks at him in disbelief.
"Let's see, there's home, school, work, games-" Ms Calendar begins.
"Computers are on the way out. I think paper is about to make a big comeback." Xander points out.
"And the abacus." Willow smiles jokingly.
"Yeah. You don't see enough abaci." Xander nods in response and Ms Calendar rolls her eyes as she unlocks the classroom door, across from the library. Everyone goes to sit down in a seat as Ms Calendar turns her back to the door. Down the hall, Camila walked with determination, her sneakers making no noise on the floor.
"All right, the first thing we want to do is..." Ms Calendar begins before turning to see Camila standing at the door. "...Cam."
"Huh? Did i fall asleep already?" Xander asks confused before rotating in his seat to see Camila standing at the door, her face quite pale.
"Ahhh. You miss your friends." Willow smiles, looking over at Camila.
"Sit here, Cam. De-militarize the zone between me and Cordelia." Xander jokes, pointing to the seat next to him. Camila remains silent, her eyes looking over at him dazed.
"And de-lice him while you're at it." Cordelia retorts to Xander. Camila looks back at Ms Calendar.
"Actually i wanted to talk to you for a second." she mutters quietly.
"Is something wrong?" Ms Calendar asks concerned and Camila bites her lip, looking down at the ground as she hugged herself.
"Is it some crisis that requires instant action - very far from here?" Xander asks, hoping to get out of school on a Saturday.
"I'm not sure..." Camila mutters looking up at Ms Calendar.
"Think dammit! Cam, don't make me beg." Xander complains.
"Well, it's Giles." Camila replies and Ms Calendar looks at her confused.
"A loved one, good...." Xander begins, trailing off to let her finish.
"He's all right, isn't he?" Willow asks looking over at Camila and then Ms Calendar.
"I don't know. He didn't show up last night when he was supposed to, and then i went by his place and he was acting...well, very anti-Giles." Camila explains, walking slightly into the room, still keeping her arms wrapped around herself.
"You went by his place? He has a place?" Willow asks and the group gives her a look. "Of course he has a...i just never think of him living anywhere outside the library. So there was weirdness?" Willow corrects herself.
"He wouldn't let me in. He looked terrible. And i think he might have been...uh, i think he was drinking." Camila turns to look at Ms Calendar who was just as confused.
"He was home alone drinking?" she asks and Camila nods slowly.
"But...tea, right?" Willow asks innocently.
"It wasn't tea, Will." Camila shakes her head.
"Yup. I knew this would happen." Xander begins and Camila looks over at him. "Nobody can be wound as straight and narrow as Giles without a dark side erupting. My Uncle Roary was the stodgiest taxidermist you ever met - by day - by night it was booze and whores and fur flying...were there any whores?" Xander rambles and Willow looks at him sternly.
