After eating, we sat down and Jimin let me lean on him. It was silent and I was exhausted, before I knew it I had fallen asleep.
Jimin was deep in thought, however. He couldn't believe that Taehyung would do such a thing. The two were practically soulmates but Jimin couldn't understand him.
There was also something else. Jimin's heart always sped up for some reason recently when Y/n was close by, it was odd. He wasn't stupid, he knew what was happening. But he always knew that Y/n was dating Taehyung and he shouldn't like Y/n.
And now, well, it's not the right time. You can't change who you love that easily, and he was determined to be there for Y/n and help her move on, not make it potentially worse.
He sighed and looked to his side to see Y/n fast asleep. He gently moved the hair from her face and stared at her. Her eyes were a bit puffy from all the crying yet she was peacefully smiling.
Jimin smiled to himself and closed his eyes resting his head on top of Y/n's. Y/n seemed strong in trying to move on, and that eased him a little. He was really worried about her, and he still is, but he knew that she had someone to help her through the breakup. And that was her only, and best friend, Jimin.
TIME SKIP
Jimin woke up at around evening time. He layed Y/n down and left, going to Taehyung's house. He wasn't going to let him get away with it without at least a scolding and maybe a punch to the face.
He rang the bell and waited impatiently tapping his foot on the ground for the door to open. As soon as the door opened, he punched Taehyung right in the face and he stumbled back.
"The fuck?!" Jimin grabbed his collar and slammed him on the wall. "You" Taehyung just stared into his eyes then pulled Jimin's arm away harshly and threw it to the side.
"Get out" "Yeah, right. I thought I freaking knew you! And you just... what the hell was even on your mind?!" "I said get out" he growled. "I'm not getting out until you get me one fucking reason why you-"
Taehyung slammed Jimin against the wall and covered his mouth with his own hand, glaring into the others eyes. "You don't know anything, you've never been in love, you've never been in a single relationship and all you do is just tag along so you're not alone."
Jimin tried to get free but Taehyung punched him in the stomach and kicked his legs, making him fall on the floor. He yelled in pain and Taehyung grabbed his shirt, practically throwing him out of the house.
"Don't come near me unless you want to get beaten up" with that he slammed the door shut and Jimin but his lip trying to control his anger and sadness.
What Taehyung said hit him hard. Jimin's transfered schools at least 5 times, and he was alone in each and every one of them. It was only since last year that he met Taehyung and Y/n, and they became great friends. He always had felt like a third wheel, but he had no one else to go to, so he always tagged along.
He stayed there on the ground for a while until his phone went off. He picked up the call seeing it was Y/n. "Jimin? Where are you?" He sighed and said, "I went home. I'll see you at school." "Oh, ok" He put his phone back in his pocket and got up, going home.
Y/N POV
I went to school, Taehyung still wasn't there, which I was glad about. The day went slowly and I spent break and lunch with Jimin. We didn't talk much, we both seemed to have something to think about.
After school we just went to the park together (PARK Jimin hehe). We walked for a bit then layed down on the grass. Again, it was silent, so I turned to my side leaning on my elbow to look at Jimin.
Something seemed off. "Jimin, you ok?" "Yeah" he mumbled, which clearly meant no. I looked him up and down. He was resting one of his hands on his stomach tightly.
I sat up and grabbed his wrist, moving it away from his stomach. "What are you doing?" I put my hand on the bottom of his shirt ready to lift it up a little bit but he grabbed my wrist with his other hand.
"I said what are you doing" "Why are you clutching onto your stomach like that?" "It's a stomach ache. You know I didn't have an appetite today." I raised an eyebrow at him then said, "Ok fine, let me see then if it's nothing."
"Why would I let you see?" I sighed and lifted his shirt slightly to see a light bruise on his stomach. I widened my eyes and he sat up, pulling his shirt down and looking away.
"...What happened?" He ignored me. "Jimin?" "Can't you just let it slide?" he said quietly. "Tell me" I said, putting my hand on his arm. He finally looked at me and bit his lip before looking away again.
"I went to Taehyung's house." "What?" He looked at me slowly and said, "I was mad... I just..." He sighed and looked down. I sighed and asked, "What did he say to you?" He bit his lip and shook his head in a no motion.
I sighed again and pulled my hand back from his arm. "Ok, you don't have to tell me." I rested my head on his lap as I layed back down, and Jimin just stared down at me.
"What? Let me rest" I closed my eyes and I heard him sigh quietly. I guessed that Taehyung must have said something that hurt him, and that's what he was probably thinking about all day. I shouldn't push him, if he didn't want to talk about it, that's that.
I felt safe with Jimin. He's the only one I can talk to right now. My parents are away and I live alone at the moment, and I don't have any other friends to talk to other than him. I'm glad that he's here for me, that he was there for me when I broke up with Taehyung. He helped a lot, and if it weren't for him I'd probably be crying on my bed right now.
I smiled, feeling both glad and lucky to have Jimin by my side. He was a really kind-hearted person and a good listener, not to mention good with words. He is the best and only friend I have.
