This feels right... I always felt like I had mixed feelings towards him but now I understand them. I like him... I've returned his feelings ages ago, but I never realised it until now.

Suddenly the power went off, meaning we were in darkness. We both pulled away from each other, and I snapped back into reality.

The bills... the threat... they're forcing me out.

Luckily Jimin couldn't see my expression right now, because if he did he would be worried.

But before I knew it he had turned his flashlight on. He tried turning the lights back on but it wouldn't. "Ugh, what's wrong with the ligh- what's wrong?"

He stepped closer and cupped my right cheek with his hand. I looked away biting my lip but he used his hand on my cheek to make me look at him.

"What's going on?" I have to tell him now... now or never. "They turned the power off" "...Why?" "I couldn't pay my bills..."

He blinked a couple of times then said, "What kind of bastard would turn the power off because you didn't pay the bills? But why couldn't you? Don't your parents pay for it?"

"...I've been paying for it for like the last month..." "...What?" I bit my lip as my eyes started tearing up. I felt too pathetic to even want to look at him anymore.

" Hey, hey..." he pulled me to his chest and wrapped his arms around my waist." Don't cry, ok? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." "N... no... I want to..."

He sighed and said, "Ok, but let's sort this power thing out first." "...They did it to kick me out." "...They did what?" "They threatened me saying that they'll turn off the power and force me out if I don't pay the bills properly... but I couldn't so they did it."

A tear rolled down my cheek and onto his shirt, I bit my lip not wanting to break down in front of him. "Pack your stuff." "...Huh?" He pulled back and looked at me. "Pack your stuff, you'll live with me."

I just blinked at him and he sighed, holding onto my arm and leading me upstairs using the flashlight from his phone to see.

"Pack what you need for now, we'll come back tomorrow." I nodded and grabbed some stuff stuffing them in a bag before going out with him. We walked to his house and I was staring down at the pavement the whole time.

All of a sudden he intertwined his hand with mine making me look up at him. He looked at me too and smiled. "What? Aren't we dating now?" I blushed and looked down and he chucked, lifting my chin gently for a quick peck.

Once we got there Jimin quickly changed in the bathroom and I got changed too afterwards. I walked out and he was sitting on the bed, staring at the floor.

Once he noticed my presence he tapped the space next to him and I slowly went over, sitting down. He turned to face me and intertwined our hands together.

"You can tell me now... so let it out." I bit my lip and nodded, squeezing his hand tighter. "About a month ago... m... my mother was shot." He widened his eyes and I continued, "My father lost his job that day so he came back home early only to see my mother... like that..."

I wiped a tear away with my arm and said, "She survived... but I had to pay my own college fees and the bills on my own. I got two jobs at first, but I lost one that's why it became difficult... especially with college and all."

I let the tears flow down my cheeks, finally letting out what's been built up over the last couple of weeks. Jimin wiped my tears away with his thumbs gently and pecked my forehead sweetly.

"It's ok... don't worry anymore, I'll get a job too and help." "Jim-" "Don't tell me to not help, because I will. You can't stop me." I sighed and nodded, then he said, "Next time if something happens tell me, ok? I'm your boyfriend now."

He smiled and pecked my lips before laying down on the opposite side of the bed, pulling me to his embrace. "Don't worry about anything anymore... I'm here..." he said quietly kissing the top of my head.

I smiled, closing my eyes for once feeling relaxed and at peace. That night I slept really well, and it felt amazing.

Meanwhile, Taehyung had been thrown into a car and sped driven to his place. He was spotted with Y/n, and Taehyung knew that he was done for. Not that he cared.

The guy pulled him up harshly and dragged him all the way inside the house and into one of the rooms downstairs. Throwing him onto the floor, Taehyung groaned, the alcohol still in him, but he was sober enough.

Sober enough to realise what he's done. He knew he fucked up.

His hair was pulled back harshly by another man, the one he despised with all his heart. "What did I say? Not to act up, look what you've fucking done!" he punched Taehyung in the face and he didn't even bother fighting back, he knew it would only make things worse.

"You know, what? You're gonna regret it. You hear that! You're gonna wish you've never been born!" He punched Taehyung, and kicked him, again and again until Taehyung was bleeding badly and couldn't move a muscle.

He grabbed Taehyung's hair harshly and glared into his eyes, Taehyung barely able to keep his eyes open. "I know you don't give a flying fuck if I beat you up, so I'll do it to Y/n and your so called friend Jimin too."

Taehyung felt anger grow inside of him. He wanted to beat the living hell out of this guy, but he was too weak. He felt useless, and that everything was his fault.

The guy walked out and locked the door, leaving a silently crying, bloody mess of Taehyung lying on the cold floor.
