We held hands as we walked to my house together. I was happy meanwhile Jimin was staring at our hands, without me noticing. Mostly couples would hold hands as they walked together, but in this situation it was two friends holding hands whilst walking.

Of course Jimin wished that it were a couple, but he thinks that will never be the case. He didn't have the confidence to confess, and he wasn't even sure if his feelings were long lasting enough to get into a relationship. He also didn't want to risk loosing the only friend he has left.

He sighed and looked back forward, and I looked at him to see if something was wrong, and he looked a bit upset. "You ok?" I carassed his hand with mine and he seemed to tense up a little.

He pulled his hand back and scratched the back of his neck. "Y... yeah... just..." I waited for him to continue but it was about 10 seconds until he spoke up. "I'm not... fond of skinship..." "...But you normally like hugs and stuff..."

"I was lying..." "Ah. About... yeah, I get it. You should've let us know. I'm sorry, I'll be more careful from now on." I smiled at him and started walking again.

No is all Jimin thought. He was on the spot so he said anything that came to his mind as an excuse, and he messed up. He loves hugs, cuddling and that sort of stuff, and he didn't want to miss out all of a sudden because of what he's said.

"You coming?" he snapped out of his thoughts and smiled, running up. "Let's go" He had to hide his feelings, it would only make things worse right now.

"Stop lazing around, we only have a bit left" Jimin complained. I groaned and said, "can't we just eat please, I'm so hungry." Jimin sighed and got up, boiling some water for ramen.

He came back and sat back down, focusing on the work again. "Jiminnn" I whined. Jimin looked up at me then sighed and closed the book he was taking notes from.

"Finally" I back hugged him but he didn't move or say anything. Just stare at the floor. I pulled back and looked at him. "Jimin?" He looked at me for a second before getting up and going to the kitchen again.

I followed him and saw him adding the ramen to the water. "Jimin?" he didn't respond, and by now I knew something was up. I walked over and he tried to turn around when I got close but I grabbed his arm.

He stopped and I looked at his face, he looked hurt. "What's wrong?" I asked in a soft tone. He shook his head and tried to pull his arm free, but I tightened my grip for a second so he couldn't.

"What is it?" he sighed and looked away, avoiding eye contact. It went silent and the only noise that could be heard was the water from the ramen boiling.

I sighed, realising that he wasn't going to tell me what's wrong that easily. I let go of his arm and patted his shoulder before preparing some egg and spring onion for the ramen.

Jimin was silent whilst eating then left, leaving me a little worried. He was acting weird, something was clearly up, and he was trying to hide it. I'm determined to find out what it is, but at the same time I don't want to push him. I'll wait until he opens up to me.

Meanwhile, Jimin was dragging himself home. He felt terrible. He hated the fact that he had feelings for Y/n, he hated that fact that she was hurt by his so called soulmate, and all he wanted to do was get rid of his feelings. Once Y/n finds out, it's over.

TIME SKIP

The next day the two met up as usual. Jimin didn't want Y/n to suspect anything, and he also didn't want her to be alone. So, he explained to Y/n that he was just stressed and in a bad mood yesterday. Which, after a bit of convincing, well, convinced her. Obviously she wasn't too sure but she decided to let it slide.

Whilst they were eating lunch later on, a drink was spilled over Y/n. To be more accurate, banana milkshake. And the person who did it was no other than Taehyung's 'soon to be wife'. "OoPs, I'm sorry I spilled it" she said in a very sarcastic tone.

Jimin clenched his fists and stood up. "What the fuck is your problem?! We're not getting in the way of you two so why bother us?!" She scoffed and crossed her arms. "You don't know anything, bitch." That reminded Jimin of Taehyung. "You don't know anything"

"...You little-" he was about to give her a good beating but Taehyung caught his wrist. "What the fuck are you doing?!" The canteen went silent and Jimin snapped his head ready to yell at Taehyung, but he was looking directly at his girlfriend.

"W...what? He was about to hit me and-" Taehyung let go of Jimin's wrist and grabbed his girlfriend's instead, dragging her out. Jimin stood there confused for a minute whilst people started whispering between themselves.

Then it hit him. He turned around to look at me and tears were rolling down my cheeks, whilst I stared at the table. He held onto my arm gently and said, "Let's go."

I stood up and we went out of the canteen to the toilets. "Clean up and come right out, ok?" I nodded and went in, cleaning up the mess I was in.

TAEHYUNG POV

I dragged her out and to somewhere in the grounds where no one could see us. "What's wrong with you?" she pulled herself free. "What's wrong with you?!"

"What did I do now?" she crossed her arms across her chest. "Leave them alone, they're not doing anything to either one of us." She scoffed and grabbed my collar, staring into my eyes.

"I don't think you realise, you fucking cry in your sleep! Murmuring 'Y/n' and whatever, how do you think I feel?!" I pulled her arm away and said, "Nothing. Because we are nothing. Don't try to act like we are" I walked off.
