"Ouch!" Shariq hissed due to pain. Of course, he would hiss after all I pinched him so hard.

All fake promises. Wasn't he the only one who said and I quote, 'They know that you're very young and won't ask someone irrelevant like that.'?

"Ah- umm, Ammi they are too young now. There's a long wa-"

Dadi cut Aunt Sarah off, when she was trying to defend us.

"Arey! Sarah beta, don't give this excuse. They are not counted young if they are married."

"Correct Dadi." Shehroz chimed in who soon received a slap on the back of his head by Shariq who was extended his hand from behind me.

"Shariq, bacche you say. When will you give me a great grandson?" Dadi turned to look at us.

Shariq, you are a dead meat.

"Dadi I-" He got cut off when a girl appeared screaming Aunt Sarah's name.

"Aunt Sarah!" The girl hugged Aunt Sarah to death. "Asalamualaikum." She greeted.

She exchanged greetings with everyone and walked towards where I was sitting with Shariq and Shehroz by either side.

Is this the girl with whom Aunt Zakera, Shariq's chachi, shipped Shariq with?

"Asalamualaikum!" The girl took me into another bone crushing hug. She surely loves hugs.

Nope she ain't that girl.

"Walaikumasalam." I managed to utter out cause her grip was too tight on me.

"Insharah, calm down. You will suffocate her to death." Shariq objected from beside me.

Oh so she is Insharah, Shariq's Chachu's daughter.

(Chachu- Paternal Uncle)

"You must be Uméma, the new daughter-in-law and Shariq bhai's wife?" She asked me excitedly finally pulling out of the hug.

"Ah, yes." I answered, still weirded out by the whole scenario.

"No wonder he was so concerned about you when I hugged you." She gave full teeth smile.

"I objected in between cause your hugs do suffocate people." Shariq reasoned out.

"Oh really? Anyway how was the journey till here?" She implored.

"Very tiring." I and Shariq both said it at the same time. Just die already, Shariq!

"Well, it was very tiring I guess." She looked between us.

"Ahem." Clearing of the throat was made from someone beside me to grab attention. "Bhabhi, can you see me?" I heard Sheroz.

(Bhabhi: sister-in-law)

"Bhabhi." He nudged me.

"What Shehroz?" I turned towards me.

"I have called out two times your name."
