I brushed my shirt off as i walked out of the bathroom. Hunter was fixing his hair, so it wouldn't be weird that we walked out at the same time.

as if it wasn't weird that we walked in together.

no, we didn't do anything. except we actually did.

I sat down, the chef giving me a weird look as he walked away. Hunter sighed as he sat down, a small smile on his face.

"are you ready to go?"

"yeah, want to go to mine?" i asked, grabbing his hand as we walked out.

"i'd love to."

I smiled, looking at the sunset. There was a giant warehouse, almost blocking the view, but it didn't bother me.

"look at the sunset hunter!" i pointed, seeing the colorful sky filled with yellow, orange and pink.

"we should take pictures somewhere." hunter smiled.

I yawned, "can we do it some other time? i'm really tired."

"of course." hunter smiled at me as he started to drive.

third person pov.

to kairi, hearing the words of course were different. usually mattia would tell him to do something, and that would be it. and it didn't matter if kairi didn't want to, mattia would pressure him until he did.

it scared him to have something different.

"you good? you keep spacing out." hunter put a hand on kairi's, which was in his lap.

"yeah. just thinking about how things are different." kairi looked forward, seeing the city getting closer. "we should move out of the city."

"what do you mean?"

"did you not just hear me?" he laughed, "you and i, should move out of the city. and into a house not an apartment."

He chuckled, "o-okay? we can start looking tomorrow."

Kairi smiled brightly. he hadn't been this happy in quite a while. he in fact felt better when hunter came into his life.

his relationship with mattia consisted of babying the 23 year old, and pretty much having sex with him. oh and mattia talking about how much he wanted to tie kairi down...yk during the deed.

and his relationship with hunter consisted of going out for lunch and dinner, waking up late because they stayed up too late getting to know each other. along with how the two could plan a successful future.

of course, nothing lasts forever.

the thought saddened kairi. He felt the same way at the beginning of his and mattia's relationship. that started over two years ago.

he only saw success. yet it crumbled because neither of them did anything to keep it that way.

they gave up, as if their love for each other could save the relationship. but obviously it didn't end that way.

Kairi followed hunter up the stairs to his apartment, feeling weird. As he walked in he saw the same table that he had sat alone at for so many nights.

"kai..?" hunter asked.

He shook his head, slowly coming back into reality. "i'm sorry, i just-god im such an idiot"

"no need to apologize."

kairi looked at hunter with love, little did he know it wouldn't last long.

"but why were you spacing out anyway?" hunter asked kairi

"i- i was just thinking about how many times i sat alone on that table during my relationship with mattia" kairi said looking at hunter

kairi noticed a change in hunters eyes he looked...mad... but why? next thing kairi knew was he was harshly grabbed by his jaw

"listen, i don't want to ever hear this name again! don't mention his name nor think about that thing. You are mine now, so fucking stop thinking about that son of a bitch" hunter growled, not aware of his actions.

"first of all don't bring him into this. he is a person. yes we are together now but stop putting him down just cause he is my ex" kairi argued, yes him and mattia may have broken up but he still had slight feelings for him.

"what did you just say? are you defending that bitch? if you you want to defend him just go back to him like the little fucking bitch you are! hm?" hunter snapped, folding his arms.

right when hunter was done yelling his lungs out kairi felt a stinging feeling on his cheek.....hunter slapped him...

"did you just lay your hand on me?" kairi asked not wanting to believe what just happend.

"hunter was so sweet how could he hit me?" kairi thought

that's when realization hit hunter

"oh my god kairi i am so sorry! please forgive me, you know i love you! i don't know why i did that and how i could even bring myself to do that! please i love you baby boy" hunter pleaded hoping he will get kairis forgiveness

"i- y-yes i know....i forgive you....i love you too hunter" kairi answered naively

"please don't tell anyone about that, especially mattia you know he will kill me!"

"yea...yes of course i'm not gonna tell anyone, i know you are a good person"

Kairi's pov.

of course i'm not gonna snitch on hunter.
i love him and he loves me and mattia will kill him if he ever finds that out

and i don't even know why i defended him, like he hurt me. he is an asshole.
