NICHOLAS

Lately all I've been doing is finding a way to pent out all my anger out onto something or someone. So that be either me punching a bag or torturing the prisoners I keep in my basement, I stay busy.

Right now, however; I'm in my office staring at a picture of my Viper. I still don't know what I'm going to do if I find her. All I know is I want her and our child to be happy and safe.

*KNOCK*KNOCK*

"Who is it?"

"I-it's me, sir." Says Diana's old personal maid coming into my office. I almost forgot about her to be honest.  The only reason I let her live was to show Diana that I had some redeeming qualities. I guess that plan didn't work so well.

"What do you need?" I ask annoyed that she interrupted me in the midst of my thoughts.

"T-there is someone who wishes to speak with you. He's downstairs in the main lounge waiting for your presence, your majesty." She replies not looking at me in the eyes like how every one of my subjects act. I'm glad she learned her place here in such a short time.

"Did he state his name?"

"No...but he is a police officer." I smile at the thought of a cop walking in here like he owns the place. If I'm lucky it'll be one of the new recruits that was foolishly brave for coming to confront and try to arrest me.

"You may take your leave now." I say waving my hand in the direction of the door not looking at her once.

She leaves my office leaving me sitting there very curious as to why and who the cop could be. The only real answer I have would be a newbie or the big chief himself.

...

As I open the doors to the main lounge I come face to face with a pistol aimed directly between my eyes. I smirk in realization that it's Diana's adoptive father.

"Where are they?" He asks in an authoritative voice.

"Where are who? You might want to be a little more specific in your questions chief Jones. Or may I call you Henry?" I say walking over to the liquor and pouring myself a glass or whiskey.

"You can call me whatever the hell you want. Now where are my children?!" He shouts.

"Diana is currently in hiding, away from me and my bastard of a father. But as for Joshua, well...lets just say he's a model VIP." I take a quick gulp of the whiskey and show him a smug look.

"What's your price?" He asks, putting his gun down but not fully away.

"Oh, he's not for sale. He's staying here until I can find Diana. Although, if you wish to see him that can be arranged. As long as you tell me everything you know about Diana's past, before she became your daughter of course." I simply state, sitting down on my chair and waving my hand towards the couch hoping he'd sit and speak with me.

"I don't know what you are referring to." I frown as he hesitantly sits down across from me.

"Let's skip the part where you deny knowing who she really is. I don't have the time and I'm sure you'd very much like to see your son. In fact I'm surprised you haven't asked about Diana." I lean farther back into my chair, smirking at the old man.

"I trust that she can protect herself. I assume she told you then...or did you find out. She was never really fond of talking about her past." I frown knowing that he's true. I wouldn't have found out if it weren't for the Englishman.

"Yes, I've realised. Now please tell me what I wish to hear or I'll have one of my guards force you off my property. We aren't family...yet." He nods, agreeing with me.
