Chapter 4: Evening time

The day went by like that huh? I didn't want to keep you in the day any longer. I finally got to cook tonight though it was the most annoying thing getting something everyone wanted to eat. Terrible.
"Beef is better than steak face down, it can be used for more things but why not mix them? We've been arguing for hours," Sora complained.

Finally, a smart choice from Sora. We were having Tacos that night so it was new for me to make steak and beef and then mix them. In the end, it was good with nachos.

We ate, made jokes, and talked about our current situation in and out of the romantic territory, It would be an understatement if I told you that I told them nothing.
"Do we have any love interests here?" Sora snickered.
Sora was already pulling on everyone's strings with that statement. With the look she was giving all of us it was hard to pinpoint her sexually, for as long as I knew her she flirted with boys and girls so all I can say is that maybe she is bisexual.

I know she could tell by the silence that something was up, and lord did she like getting on others' nerves.

"Don't we supposed to be looking at the stars tonight chicken?" I mocked back at Sora.
I probably saved everyone's butts there, they all knew as much as I did that she would suck them dry of their secrets. "you can't have nothin in Detroit" is what she used to say to us when it came to these moments but not this time. She looked at me and sighed a little as if a plan was foiled, but another hissy fit from Amber was not going to happen tonight or this vacation would just be a few days off back at home all over again.

"Ight Ken, you want to go now or Nah?" Sora answered with a sour face slowly getting up. She didn't keep her eyes off of me.
She sounded so carefree, I was going to miss that. It was deeper in the night, more or less sunset so when we went outside the stars were just coming out. It was a beautiful thing to see when the darkness was cradling us allowing us to see the stars much better than in the city.

I heard some steps behind us, like Sora I just brushed it off and thought it was Tsuki or Amber but neither of them was outside of the house as of yet so I, not being stupid, looked around a bit, left to right, and even above. There was nothing and it almost made my skin crawl.

"Are you guys coming out!?"  I yelled out already nervous. Sora continued to look at the stars seemingly zoomed out while studying at their beauty.
I felt my heart rate jump as I heard some more steps and more before a light, a dim red light. I should have known that was trouble but they seemed to just be passing by, even so, why were they here? On this property? Wasn't this private property? the nervousness consumed me causing my breathing to become faster as I scrutinized it.

"Ken? Ken! Hey! why are you looking at?!" I heard her muffled voice, my last glance was me looking into her eyes. For once, she had a look of worry.
