Chapter 12: Next Morning

I woke up to Tsuki facing me, our faces were dangerously close together and the bed was not meant for two people so if I moved away I could have easily fallen off.

My face flared up, I tried my best to turn around away from him but his pillow was gone and still not under his head so he must've grabbed me in the mists of the night.
His face was now at my chest and his fingers were digging into my back, was he having a nightmare? This was tighter than he usually hugged me.
He never did this to Sora or Amber, I've asked him before and he confirmed that he only embraced me in this manner, but why?

I didn't know how to feel especially if Sora woke up and saw us like this halfway out of the covers, she's going to assume more than sleeping happened last night.
I mean, I didn't hate it I didn't whatsoever I just wished he wouldn't do this in the same room with a 10 yr old in a 20 yr old body.

I remembered sighing so deeply it could probably be heard from across the room, I was surprised I wasn't used to this when knowing Tsuki for at least 8 years including college. I liked to wonder if his mother or father was this way or if he just picked this up from somewhere, many wouldn't take him seriously in this state.

His hair was in a messy bun with strands of hair hanging over his face and his eyes laid calmly closed, I almost admired him as I put my chin against the back of his head. I wish I knew what I was doing at this moment but I was just going with the flow.
The least I could have done is start to gather my stuff to go back to the city, it wasn't good to stay here for the rest of the week after the threat they gave us. We couldn't take any chances.

"Tsuki!" I said in a quiet but harsh tone in his ear making him jolt awake, he looked at me wide-eyed before calming down and then looking confused.
"I'm just as confused as you are teddy." I said, "Can you let me go now?" I added. I didn't notice how constricting his hold was on me until he let me go in which I removed myself from his bed.
I immediately got up and left the room, I never got to make breakfast yesterday so I thought I'd do it today, I wondered what happened to Sora last night as I got the eggs out.

I and Tsuki were the first ones awake, this was usual since our bodies were used to getting up early for work but I knew the girls wouldn't be that far behind.
Tsuki came out of the room in a rather awkward manner and walked over to watch what I was doing.
"Do you need help?" He asked opening the fridge before I could get back there.
"No, you should go shower for today," I said giving a small smile at him and looking back down at what I was doing.
I can only assume that he understood what I said and went to go do that.
If you were wondering how I'm using the stove without electricity Tsuki had messed with the breaker before he showered, almost like in my dream.
