Amber didn't take any more time to break the window but our placement was kinda high off the ground, for all I knew I could spring an ankle jumping from this height. The silhouette got back up to their feet and rapidly ran over to us, their steps were loud but clumsy. They hastily came up the stairs where we were causing us to jump out of the window, all except me.

Two thuds hit the ground outside, I was still in the house caught by the neck by the intruder. He had a hard grip around my scruff and I could smell the stench of Baijiu from their hands,
"You're coming with me boy." A husky voice declared as I tried to struggle out of the grip. I was only wasting energy because I was slowly becoming devoid of air.

The last thing I breathed in was a sweet smell of chloroform through a cloth, my friends probably watched the man do it if they didn't already run for their own lives.
Everything after that was black, I could only assume I was either dragged or carried away somewhere after that.

I woke up in a dingy cell laying on a surprisingly comfortable bed, eyes laid on me as my eyes opened. The room looked like a regular house but there was no window, at least not actual ones.

"Hey there." A smooth voice said making me jump out of my skin before I turned around,
"Where am I!?" I quickly said standing up and walking to the bars, I was antsy and I shook the bars a bit as they continued to stand there with their hands to their sides.
"Shh, don't be loud," the person said looking around as my voice echoed around the unknown place. "You shouldn't be alive. But I spared you, you are very special hehe" they added making me back up mostly out of anxiousness.

I was angry but submissive at the same time, the place was lit up by dim orange lights hanging from the ceiling.
I looked at their face, it was covered yet they were just as chubby as the last one that grabbed him like a lion cub.
I recognized that mask, it was the same one I saw on the property and the same one that gave me a panic attack. There were so many questions I wanted to ask this man but I doubted that he was going to answer me.

"Who are you and why am I here?" I asked putting my hand back on the bar of the cage.
"I am...someone of course...I can't tell you anything. Honestly, your friends did a rash thing back there," They explained.

"Leave." A deep voice said as they took off their mask to look at me. The other skidded away like a rat, I assumed that this man was one of authority over the other.
I looked at this grotesquely scarred face, their lip looked like it had been surgically stitched back together and their hair was a deep brown. Typical evil leader. They looked back at me and sniffled before leaning up against the bars, this man had to at least he 6ft and was more big boned than chubby.
"Where your friends." They damanded yet their words were a bit off.
