We navigate the halls.
Perching on Master's shoulder is always a delight.
Seeing things from a non-aerial view is quite intriguing.
So this is how the average Virideian sees things.
Master hums the tune we made up together years ago
however it is briefly interrupted
by laughter and chatter coming from ahead.
Two figures come into view.
The lively gardenkeeps cross our path.
They take a moment to bow and greet Master.
"Lovely morn, young prince.", they echo in unison.
"Indeed. Today is lovely— the first morn of spring...
Pardon my intrusion.
May I ask where you two are headed?", Master adds gently.
I look to him.
"Of course, young prince!", the louder of the two chimes up.
"We're headed to the Jiardin.", says the more timid one.
His eyes shine brilliantly.
At the mention of the gardens,
a childlike glow washes over him.
The gardenkeeps gush at Master's reaction.
Unsurprisingly, he is endearing to all he comes across;
especially to me.
