"Young prince, what's the matter?"
the timid one approached
but kept mind of her distance.
Master shook his head and looked to the side.
"Nothing..." he mumbles, still clearly shaken.
"I'd best be going then."
"We're sorry we can't have you come with us."
The livelier one says apologetically.
Perhaps he thinks that is the cause
for Master's change of mood?
"Don't apologize for it.
I'm glad you're looking out for me." he says with a smile.
They exchange farewells and continue to leave.
Midway, Master stops and looks back.
"Ah, gardenkeeps?" he asks,
but it sounds like an exclamation.
They are quick to respond and turn around immediately.
"Yes, young prince?" they echo in unison.
"What are your names?"
"I'm Norina." says the timid one.
"Ornain!" the lively one exclaims.
Master nods and once again
his lips part into a smile.
"Norina, Ornain,
thank you for your hard work."
