I don't want to lose you

"Come on Tess. You have the day off, me too. And we can do something fun. Like go down to the beach." James slowly shook Tess trying to get her up.

Tess had been really tired the past few days. He was starting to get concerned and decided to get her up and do something.

"James. I'm tired. Please maybe some other time." Tess grabbed the pillow and put it over her head.

"Babe you haven't gone to work in two days because your tired. Look let's get up and go shopping. I know you love to go shopping Then remember yesterday you told me you wanted cake and ice cream. We can go down to the store and I'll buy you both."

"Deal." Tess said and sat up. She threw the covers over her legs and walked to the closet.

"You wanna pick my out fit.?" Tess asked James.

"No. It's fine. I prefer to be the one that takes it off you."

Both laughed and James stood up to go hug her. Tess leaned back in his arms and smiled .

"Ok. Ok. I love you but you got to let me pick something." Tess said.

James groaned and moved his arms from her waist. Tess smiled and pulled his face down one more time to give him a quick kiss.

She then chose her outfit and walked over to restroom throwing a wink at him before closing the door.

Before she started changing she decided to put on a little make up.

James started changing and sat in the bed waiting for Tess while she changed.

He had decided on a simple button up shirt and a pair of jeans.

He heard the rattle of the doorhandle amd stood up.

"I'm ready. Let's go." Tess threw the clothes she was wearing beforehand inside the basket. She moved to the side of the bed to put her heels on and grab her purse.

"How do you do this? Even if your trying to look casual. You look amazing."

Tess laughed and stood up. "I don't know. I guess I'm just that fabulous."

"Yes you are." James responded.

The couple walked down to James car and got in.

Not that long after they were outside the mall ready to go shopping.

"We're here!!" Tess got off of the car and waited for James happily.

"Calm down babe." James smiled and took her hand.

"You brought me to paradise. How can you expect me to be calm.?"

"I know. I know. Which is why I brought you here."

"Ok. Where do we start?"

"Anywhere you want."

"Ok. How about budget.?"

"None. What ever the lady shall want, she shall have." James responded.

"I don't want anything but a dress and ice cream." Tess said.

"Then let's go find you something."

James started walking pulling Tess in the process.

"Let's make a deal I'll choose you an outfit and you get to choose me one. It can be casual or elegant. Of course you can still buy other stuff. " James smirked down at Tess while she only smiled back."So ?" James asked already having a few things in mind for Tess.

"Deal." Tess responded.

"Ok. I'll stay here and you can go down to any men shop and get whatever you want.But it has to be full outfit. Shoes,clothes and even accessories. Then we'll wear what we choose for tonights dinner at home. It can be like our little home date."
