"I'm so sorry honey. Just go in and don't get nervous. After they give you the results just make sure to tell me."

"Yeah. Don't worry. I'll tell you what they say. And hey don't feel bad about not coming."

"Well I love you Tess. Be calm. And give me a baby to spoil."

Tess chuckled and pulled the phone down from her ear and hung up.

She was standing just outside the clinic;sweating and shaking a little. She tilted her head questioning what God had put her up to now.

"Well ....the sooner the better." Tess put her phone inside her purse and walked inside .

She smiled deeply as all around the waiting office were pregnant women or mothers with their children.

Tess walked over to the secretary and ring her little bell before speaking.

"Hey....I have an appointment with Dr. Ulises for 11:00."

"Let me see if you are here." The secretary scrolled through her list and found her in the third slot. "Okay. The doctor will be with you in about 5 minutes. You can have a seat in the meantime." The secretary smiled happily at her. Tess only responded the smile and walked over to sit down.

She played with her hands thinking that whatever they would tell her would certainly change her life forever.

"Tess Scali?" The doctor stood from the door announcing her name. Tess quickly stood up and followed the doctor to a white room.

"Okay. So do you prefer Tess or Ms. Scali?"

"Um...Tess. Ms. Scali sounds like I'm a teacher."

The doctor laughed and started looking through her paperwork.

"So Tess, Why are we here today.?"

"Because..I think I'm pregnant." Tess said in an all not to excited tone.

"Girl, you should be happy. I was bursting of joy when I found out I was pregnant. And that one was only my first." Dr. Ulises said.

Tess laughed and went ahead to finally smile for the chance.

"So how many babies did you have?" Tess asked curious.

"Wanna try to guess." Dr. Ulises said raising her eyebrows.

"2?"

"Higher."

"4"

"You had six babies.!! Oh my god your a warrior." Tess said smiling widely.

Dr. Ulises just laughed and nodded along with Tess's comment.

"Let me tell you. No matter how bad your situation is that baby comes and fixes you up. "

"I hope so." Tess whispered.

"Okay. So what are your symptoms?"

"I throw up all the time in the morning. And I am late on my monthly. I get nauseous really easily. And that's pretty much it."

"Well Tess that does sound pretty much like pregnancy symptoms."

Tess stayed quiet and nodded with the doctors highlight.

"So the next step to this would be to do a blood withdraw for some further exams and to determine if you are pregnant or not. But we can first do the ultrasound."
