Mala and Zen. And another surprise.....

James came in quietly after having a night out with his former partners at work. He quietly put down the left over food in the kitchen.

He tried being as quiet as possible because he knew he was in deep shit. He had told Tess he would be back at 12. But he had come back at 3.

But....he had brought her a surprise. Which was why he was late.

James looked for a box and put some blankets on the inside. He put down Tess's surprise inside the box and headed to the room.

James walked in and thanked God Tess was asleep. He sat beside her and now caressed her 6 month bump.

"Just 3 more months, babies." James said. He leaned down and kissed Tess's bump. Then he kissed Tess's forehead and changed quickly into his pajamas, laying next to Tess right after.

And just when he thought he was safe, she spoke.

"Your 3 hours late." Tess said with her eyes closed.

"Oh......yeah....you know how the guys can be sometimes."

"Oh yeah. I know." Tess responded.

"Are you mad?" James asked peeking over to look at Tess's face expression.

"Oh not at all. I trust that you were out with your friends and not somewhere else."

"Thanks, babe." James leaned over and kissed Tess on the side of her lips.

Tess smiled and wrapped her arms around James making their kiss deeper.

James chuckled in their kiss and started rubbing Tess inner thigh.

Tess laughed and sat up." Not tonight,cowboy.I'm really tired right now. I haven't even slept because these babies are having a kicking match."

James laughed and nodded his head. He walked sat infront of Tess and lowered his head to Tess's bump.

"Both of you have to stop playing in there. Your mom is very tired and needs a rest."

Tess laughed and smiled happily." Oh God. Looks like they listened to you." Tess said as she noticed how her babies had stopped kicking.

"Good. They listened to their dad. But come on lay down so we can go to sleep. I bet your tired, Tess."

"Very."

James got up from Tess's side of the bed and ran to his laying down. Tess laughed and layed down. James immediately pulled her into his arms and kissed her nose causing Tess to giggle.

"Good night, Tess. I love you."

"Good night, James. I love you, too."

The next morning James woke up before Tess and went ahead to make them breakfast. Tess had been really sick lately and he felt totally useless just watching her carry their children and him not being able to do anything.

He made her egg and pancakes for breakfast with sliced fruit and apple juice.

As he was making their breakfast, he peeked into the box that he had set up last night.

"Hey, kittens." James held both little cats in his hands looking at them." Tess will love you. She has been wanting a kitten since we got married."

James kissed the little cats head and put them down again.

He walked back happily to his and Tess's bedroom with breakfast for both. Right after their breakfast he would give her the kittens.

"Babe ........babe wake up. Breakfast is ready and we have that class thingy......again. Which I don't want to go to but have to."
