James started walking up the entrance to Tess's apartment. He was texting her he was on his way up when he suddenly bumped into a guy.

James dropped his phone in the process and also the flowers he had brought for Tess.

"So sorry man. Here's your ......" Vincent trailed off as he picked up James phone. He stared for a long time at the photo James had in his lock screen. Which happen to be a photo of Tess.

"Thank you." James took his phone from Vincent's hand trying not to look mean.

"No problem." Vincent responded with a smirk.

James had no idea why this man was giving him this look.

"Well I should really get going ,mate."

"Yeah you probably should." Vincent said and turned around and continued walking.

James looked at him until he dissapeared and he also continued his way up to Tess's apartment.

He stood at Tess's door and knocked a few times. He could hear Tess's heels but she didn't say anything.

James knocked again hoping this time she'd open the door.

"Go away!" Tess shouted.

James frowned and knocked again.

"Babe. It's me James."

Tess sighed and walked over to open the door.

"Hey." Tess said as she opened the door.

"Hey babe. What's wrong ? Why are you mad?"

"I'm not mad." Tess said.

James didn't want to push her so he only nodded and stepped inside the apartment.

"You look.....fabulous." James said as he took her hand and spinned her around.

Tess smiled and giggled as he spinned her.

"Well enjoy the view cause pretty soon I'll look like a whale." Tess said.

James laughed and put the flowers down. He pulled her by the hand and hugged her from behind placing his hands on her stomach.

"You'll look gorgeous. Because you'll be carrying and nurturing our baby." James said.

"Your just saying that because you love me."

"Nope. I'm saying that because it's true."

Tess smiled and pulled away from his embrace but didn't let go of his hand.

"You clean up well babe." Tess said as she looked at him.

"Think so ?" James said striking a few poses.

"Oh. I know so." Tess replied.

"Okay so why are we all dressed up?"

"One because now we can't go out together and two because I have something I want to give you."

"Oh can I know what it is.?"

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise, James. Let me go get the champagne and I'll be right back." Tess said letting go of James hand and moving over to the fridge.

She also grabbed a glass and gave it to James.

"Open it ."

"Okay. Give me a second." James said as he got the corkscrew and popped open the bottle.

Tess quickly gave him the glass for himself and James filled it with the bubbly substance.

Tess went over to her purse and pulled out a little black box. She hid it behind her back and walked back over to James.
