"Adrianna look at me. What is wrong?"

"Oh great. You're here too." I push him away from me and continue my sprint towards the bathroom. Inside I lock myself in a stall and sob like a child. I don't know if it was the alcohol or the fact that I found out that Mitchell had cheated on me but I let all of the emotions out that I had been feeling for the past two years.

I was interrupted by a knock on my stall "Adrianna, please come out." "Christian you can't be in here." "The lovely ladies outside let me in here. They are guarding the door." "And how did you convince them of that?" "I told them the woman I love is very upset and I needed in to figure out how to help her."

I roll my eyes. "Of course they let you in with that line." "It wasn't just a line Adrianna. You know that. Please open the door."

Reluctantly I open the door and look up at him with mascara tear stained eyes. He pulls me in for a hug and drags me over to the sinks.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?"

"I ran into Mitchell."

"Okay" he looks at me with a confused face.

"He was with Julie."

Still puzzled he stares at me "Are you upset about that?"

"No.. not exactly. I'm upset at what she told me."

"Which was...?"

"That she gave my husband a blowjob at a Halloween party a couple of years ago while we were married."

His eyes go wide with shock "What?"

"Yeah quite a shocker. Especially after how he treated me after learning about us. You know I don't even know why I care. It shouldn't bother me this much but it does."

"Of course it does. You just found out your husband cheated on you. It doesn't matter what has happened in the past few months. It's still going to hurt."

I begin sobbing more. "I need to go find Deena and call our Uber. I want to go home."

"You get cleaned up in here and I will go and find Deena and take you guys home."

I give him a tight lipped smile. "Thank you Christian. You are always my savior, you know that."

He winks and heads out into the bar to find Deena. I look at myself in the mirror. What a mess! Mascara is running down my face and my eyes are bloodshot red from crying. My nose has become numb and stuffy. I needed to get out of here and fast.

Leaving the bathroom I find Deena and Christian waiting for me in the hall as we head for the exit. I see Mitchell and Julie still at the bar. Julie has a smug look on her face as Mitchell stands to come over and speak. She quickly grabs him into a kiss as I look away and continue out of the bar with my friends.

We head towards the parking lot and Christian opens up both passenger car doors. I touch his wrist and look into his eyes and mouth thank you before getting in the front seat. He shuts our door and makes his way to the driver side to take us home. Slow tears fall down my face as Deena rubs my shoulder from the backseat. We are all silent as I rest my head against the window. I take a few deep breaths and my eyes start to grow heavy as the emotions of the past few months take a toll on me.

Why is it so hot? I am literally burning up!! I attempt to pry my eyes open as I feel a heavy and hot arm wrapped around my body. My eyes start to flutter open as I stare out into a familiar bedroom.

How did I get here? Memories of last night start to flood my mind as I take in my current situation. I know I was drunk but drunk enough to get into bed with Christian? I look under the blankets and breathe out a sigh of relief when I realize I am clothed.
