Five's POV

"What did he do?" I ask not hiding the sarcasm in my voice while helping Allison to couch next to Klaus, handing her a glass of water from the coffee table.

"I was down at the diner for the rally, when Klaus ran down and said Diego went to go see Dad-"

"Loverboy got himself stabbed by his own father," Klaus says while chuckling lightly. Why am I not surprised? I can't believe he went to see him, after we all agreed. I go to say something but Tessa beats me to it.

"Where is he?" she asks sternly. All of us shift our attention to her, urgency taking over her features.

"Back at Elliots apartment. Speaking of, did you guys throw an end of the world party without me because that place is trashed," Klaus sasses, clearly hurt that we'd hold any kind of celebration without the life of the party himself. I watch as Tessa gets up and gets ready to jump.

"Tessa stop, you can't go back there. The Commission is still looking for you." She looks at me with determination in her eyes.

"I can help, I need to go." She ignores my protests yet again. Man is this girl stubborn. Realizing that she's not going to listen to me, I only have one option.

"Fine, but I'm going with you." I grab her hand and we both jump back to Elliot's apartment, leaving a confused Allison and Klaus behind.

Holy shit. Klaus was not kidding. This place looked like it already went through the apocalypse. Everything is either shattered, flipped over, or has bullet sized holes through them. I notice we're still holding hands as she leads me to Elliot's old bedroom. We're greeted by the sight of a bleeding Diego, and Luther standing by him trying to patch him up.

"Five? Tessa?" Luther questions.

She lets go of my hand and quickly ushers Luther aside, taking a seat on the bed next to Diego. I follow her and stand by her side, curiously watching on what she's about to do. I mean, her solution a few minutes ago was to just slap a bandaid on it and call it a day.

I watch as she unwraps the gauze to reveal a very large gash on the left side of his stomach.

"Well that looks like it hurts," I say in an attempt to get a rise out of Diego. Clearly in too much pain to say something stupid back, he just shoots me a death stare causing me to smirk.

"Tessa? What are you doing?" Diego whispers tilting his head up to look at her, causing him to wince. She ignores him and meticulously takes her hands and places them over his wound. A light glowing sensation comes from her hands, so dim that you would miss it if you weren't paying attention. I hear Diego wince again as she removes her hands. The patch of opened, bloodied skin that was there almost seconds ago, is now almost completely healed. Only a small scar, almost in the shape of a lightning bolt, is there to indicate any type of injury had resulted there.

"Okay, how the fuck did you just do that because last time I checked, you didn't mention any type of healing shit," Diego bolts up as he inspects where his stab wound previous was. All three of us look at her in shock as she smiles.

"What can I say, when you're kind to nature, nature's kind to you," she says vaguely as she flashes us jazz hands, small flowers and water drops falling off the surface of her fingers.

"Try to keep up Harry Potter," She says, leaving them completely confused by her pop culture reference.  I crack a small smile. Luther and Diego both sit there star struck, still fascinated by the skin on Diego's stomach. Tessa stands next to me as I lean in to whisper in her ear.

"Just throw a bandaid on it huh?" I ask teasingly. She smirks and looks up at me.

"Well I mean, you already felt bad about the whole situation so I thought, might as well let you do this for me," she says sarcastically.

"I'm glad you did. It just gave me another excuse to be close to you." The words came out beofre I could stop myself. I did not just say that. Out loud. To her face.

I watch as she blushes and smiles towards the ground like she always does. Holy shit, she's beautiful. She places a strand of hair behind her ear as she leans in closer to me, resting her hand on my arm as she speaks. Her voice in my ear sends chills up my spine and causes my heart to skip a beat.

"That's exactly why I didn't do it myself," She whispers teasingly, as she then walks away out the door, flashing one last smile at me. Holy shit. I think I'm frozen. I think my heart is leaving indents in my chest from beating so hard.

Did that just happen?

I hear Luther clear his throat, seeing both of them with their eye brows raised.

"Not. A. Word." I say, receiving smirks from both of them.

"So Five, got a little crush there do you? Who knew you had actual human emotions," Diego says, knowing he has some power over me right now.

"Well good thing she wasn't adopted by Dad like the rest of us, because then we'd have two family relationships, am I right?" Diego continues as he elbows Luther in the shoulder.

"Allison and I are not biologically related! Plus we're not even together!" Luther yells starting up an argument between the two of them.  I roll my eyes and walk out the door with a little extra pep in my step, off to find the girl who makes this whole apocalypse situation a little less tragic.

Oh right. The apocalypse. Huh. Kinda forgot about that.
