Five's POV

The jump to the Commission was longer than expected judging by the way Diego and Tessa both fell to the floor once we landed.

"You know, I will never get used to not doing it myself," Tessa says while rolling on the floor. I offer her my hand and pull her up, catching her by the waist when she stumbles and imbalances herself.

"Th-thanks," she stutters trying to hide her blush. Man I love it when she blushes.

"No don't worry I'm fine," Diego mutters as he pulls himself up. I quickly clear my throat and remove my hands from around her waist.

"Diego, I need to you to find the briefcase room and grab two. Tessa and I will go to the Infinite Switchboard. Stay close behind me and move quickly. Trust me, we do not want to be seen here," I say emphasizing the last bit. They nod in understanding and we begin running to the entrance once the coast is clear.

Right now should be approximately 6 minutes until their lunch break, so we'll have about thirty minutes in the Switchboard room before they go back to their posts. Should be easy enough right?

We get through the entrance and I point Diego in the right direction as he takes off running and rolling, really selling the whole "undercover" thing. I grab Tessa's hand and lead her up the marble stair case and down the all too familiar corridor, jumping at every little sound.

"You're firing me??" I hear the whiney high pitched voice that I so dreadfully hate, echo through the hallway followed by footsteps. Panicking, I quickly grab Tessa and swing open the small storage closet to our left. I silently thank the universe as I pull open the unlocked door and quickly usher her inside first, then closing the door behind me.

The closet is lined with shelves and storage boxes, leaving almost no room for standing. Tessa and I are pressed together so closely that I can hear her heart beating. The only light is a small glow from the crack beneath the door. The bell rings for lunch and I hear the hallwy soon become flooded with voices and people.

"Shit, I'm all outta juice. We're gonna be stuck in here a while," I whisper to her.

"Let me do it, I still have energy left. I'll make the jump. Just direct me on where you want to go," She whispers back.

"Have you ever done that before? Let someone else be your guide?" I ask, not sure this will entirely work.

"Just trust me."

I do. I trust her with my life. I feel her take both my hands in hers and she repositions herself closer to the door.

"Just picture in your mind on where you want me to go and pulse that energy into me," She says in a voice so soothing that the tension naturally decreases in my shoulders. I close my eyes and just listen to the steady pace of her breathing, painting a mental image of the blue luminescent computer room that have I spent my fair share of days in. I feel her begin to start the jump as our energy phases through each other. This sensation is like nothing I've ever felt before. Sure I've shared my power with others while we jump, but mutual sharing at the same time? It's like a whole new level.

We land suddenly causing both her and I to lose our balance and fall. I fall down first and she stumbles on top of me causing our faces to be only centimeters apart. Our eyes meet with the same desirable look they've had all day.

"You know, if we weren't in a rush to save the world I'd definietly make this moment last forever," she whispers as she pulls herself up, offering her hand to me.

I swear that sentence just caused all the thoughts in my brain to stop. It takes me a second to start moving my feet again, still frozen by the sudden interaction we just had. I feel like my cheeks are pinker than Klaus' umbrella.
