Izuku woke up to the sound of people talking downstairs, warily, he got up, stretched his body quietly, yawning as he felt his bones popping.

Jade had a sneaking suspicion that the wolf he had saw brought him here, looking down he saw two holes in his shirt, trying not to think about what had transpired the night before, he continued his journey down the stairs.

What he saw was not what he expected.

People were eating breakfast like normal people would, but that's the thing, these people looked like normal humans, well except the one that looked like a tanuki. Everyone else at the table were human, a short slightly chubby woman with brown hair sat next to a man wearing glasses with what looked like red-ish hair, across from him was the tanuki girl, on her left was a man with pale skin and silver hair, eyes peering into his soul.

'Wait, his eyes peering into my soul?'
Izuku thought as he realised that the man in the trench coat was staring at him, he stiffened under his scrutiny.

The others took note of him and called him down for something to eat, Izuku acquiesced.

He was handed a plate with white rice and salmon, saying his thanks he began to eat his meal, albeit slowly, he was still getting used to eating as a wolf.

The others took notice of his struggles and thought he was nervous.

"Hey, your safe, we won't hurt you, you don't have to stay in your beast form." Ogami said, masking his question with curiosity.

Izuku choked slightly on his food and sat still for a minute, he then turned to look at the man in the trench coat.

"Well forgive me, but I don't even know your names or where I am." Izuku said.

After explaining who they are and where they were, Ogami asked why he wouldn't change.

"I...um... I don't know how, I wasn't always like this, this happened to me about a month and a half ago." Izuku said disheartened.

"Hey, we believe you, in fact, I used to be a human as well." Michiru said trying to lift the kids spirits.

"Really? Well how, when?" Izuku asked full of curiosity, he didn't smile but everyone swore that his eyes sparkled and glowed.

"Well yeah, it happened by accident, literally, I got into a bike accident with my friend and the hospital had received some beast blood experiment waste, and it happened about a year and a half ago." Michiru explained.

"Wait really, I also got into an... accident, and had to go to the hospital, after I was healed, I turned into this." Izuku gestured to his wolf body.

Ogami and Kagemori shared a look, they knew that that was around the same time the Medi-Cen was infiltrated, but something else gave them all pause, it was his hesitation to say 'accident'.
