They want to adopt me? From all those kids they choose an ugly, depressed teen? How the fuck is that even possible?

I kinda zoned out and realised I didn't answered. "Do you want to come home with us?" Demi asked kindly. I can't trust her. I can't trust her girlfriend. I can't trust anyone.

But if I'll say no, I could miss an opportunity to live a normal life. After I'm eighteen I'm gonna be on my own though. "Okay."

While I packed my clothes, which didn't take long because I don't have many, Demi and Lauren went back to Bea's office to sign some papers and shit.

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. It was Demi. "Hey, do you need some help?" She asked. "No I'm good." "Okay then we'll wait for you downstairs. I nodded and packed the last things and made sure I had my mom's necklace with me.

They live in Los Angeles, so we had a flight to take since I live in Texas. Demi's bodyguard brought us to the airport and we checked in.
Luckily no one saw us, because having fans like Demi and Lauren, looks not easy.

Max sat next to Lauren and Demi sat next to me. I had been on planes before, because my family used to go to Belgium a lot, but they always made me anxious.

The plane started to go faster and even if it doesn't help, I grabbed the leaning thing, which caused Demi to look at me. "Allison, calm down. You're safe, don't worry." She said and put her hand on mine. I immediately pulled away. I'm not letting a stranger touch me.

I don't know why, but I can't sleep in the night, so I'm always really tired during the day. I even got expelled from school because I slept during classes. Again I felt really tired, so I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

I woke up thinking we're almost landing when I see that we still have to do 2 hours. "Hey go back to sleep, we still have 2 hours to go." Demi said smiling. "No. It's okay." "Are you sure. You still look really tired." "I'm not tired." I mumbled and put on my AirPods I had given from my dad, before he abused me.

The plane landed and I made it without any breakdowns. When we came out of the plane lights from cameras came from everywhere, which caused me to panic a little since they bombed us with photos.

"Hey hey, hold my hand and don't let go." Demi said holding my hand thigh. It was hard, but we eventually made it to the car. "Are you okay, Allison?" Demi asked worried. "Y-yeah I'm fine."

"I'm really sorry about that. Did they hurt you?" Lauren asked and I shook my head. "Okay good. Let's go home and rest a little."
