(A month later)

Demi's pov:
It's been a month since Allison lives with us and I don't know how, but she's even more distant than the first week. I literally don't know what to do anymore. I tried so hard to bond with her, but she just don't let me in.
Her relationship with Lauren also isn't the best, but it's definitely better than with me.

I decided to not have it about the night she came home drunk. Lauren said that she wouldn't listen, because we only knew her a couple days. If it'll happen again I'm going to talk about it with Ally, because it isn't normal for a fifteen year old to drink.

Although she missed the first school semester, she's doing really good. I even had a call from the principal, saying she could skip a year, because she'll get bored. It's her choice, I'll understand when she don't want to.

She already went to a new school and to change classes again and start over can be too much for her.

Anyways, tomorrow is her birthday, so I wanted to surprise her. Me and Lauren have booked a flight to Paris and on the way back we're going to visit her home town, Antwerp.

Her social worker gave me the address from her old house, but also the address and number from her old friend, Lola. The daughter of her mother's friend. So I contacted her and asked if they could surprise her.

She was pretty shocked at first. She hasn't heard from her in 3 years, so it's definitely worth it. So the plan is to surprise her with the tickets to Paris, but don't tell her anything about Belgium.

Since we have to go tomorrow, I asked the principal for a week off and he totally agreed on that, since she did well. So after I picked her up from school me and Lauren are going to surprise her with the tickets since she has to pack her suitcase today, 'cause our flight is really early.

I hope this trip will make feel her more comfortable with us.
