Looking For Happiness



The group of friends didn't even realized that they had wasted their time playing at the field.
7ven though they are highschoolers, they still act like middle-schoolers. Playing around. Laughing and giggling over small little thing.

The grass is reflecting the sunshine itself. Grasshoppers and some other bugs is jumping and flying in the grass everything Yashiro and her friends plau around their home.

The loud chirpings from the birds can be heard around the field, along with the trees surrounding it.

Their giggles and laughs is echoing, not in a creepy way but in a relaxing and calming way.

They were running through the grass carelessly, playing hide n seek or tag.

No people is looking so its fine.

"I got you!" Yashiro said, grabbing Tiara's arm gently. The little girl giggled and proceed to tackles Yashiro by pushing her down to the soft grass.

Yashiro lays there, still giggling. The others is joining her by laying around Yashiro, making a circle.

Teru starts making silly jokes, it makes Yashiro laughs a little louder. Akane keep his body close to Aoi since he's laying beside her. Aoi hugs Yashiro tightly.

Tiara fell asleep in Kou's and Teru's embrace since she is laying between them.

It was such a fun day. Even though this is not even planned at the very beginning.

Everyone was having a lot of fun. Yashiro is the most happiest.

Yashiro and Teru is the only one awake now. The others already fell asleep, snoring.

Teru glances over Yashiro. She has a blank face. Her eyes is directing to the blue sky, not caring if the sunshine is causing her eyestrains. Her eyes is just there. Shining ruby eyes.

Teru slowly and gently pushes Tiara from his arm and settled her down to Kou's chest.

He is now laying down on his chest, practically staring at Yashiro.

"Hey"

She startles a bit. She thought that everyone is asleep. But not actually.

"Teru-Kun" Yashiro replied, moving her ruby eyes to Teru's face.

". . . This is not a great timing but. . . Its about your safety, again" He said. Yashiro didn't want this topic to brings up again, but yet here is Teru. Bringing it up.

He knows how much that topic gives her a lot of anxiety and concerns about herself and her family and friends.

". . . I know that I can't pay you for the incredible things you did to me and my family" He started. Also feeling disturbed by mentioning his family issues a few years ago.

"And I know that your parents might be searching for you" He said, adding Yashiro's parents into the conversation. Oh, now that made Yashiro feel terribly worried.

"Your parents told me to look out for you if you ever came here and immediately report to them" He said, looking down to the grass he was playing with his fingers.

Yashiro's colours drained from her face.

She know that she couldn't trust Teru from the very beginning. He seems to suspicious over her and keep complaining that she need to get some rest.

She should've saw this earlier.

Oh, so right now, he is going to take his phone.

He did.

He is opening his contacts, and opens her father's number.

He did.

This is the end of Yashiro journey. She has no hope to feel happy ever again after this.

Yashiro feels like she wanted to cry but to tears came out.

"I blocked you parents' numbers so they wouldn't be able to contact me" Teru said, showing her his phone. And he did block her parents' numbers.

". . . Maybe this is a way to pay you back . . . I will let you slide, only this time" He said.

Yashiro smile went big.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She echanted a little louder, but not too loud to wake up her friends.
