Chapter 14- The Final Warning

Silverteeth awoke from her rare doze to a loud, sad call. Someone had died again.
Lmfao welcome to cat heaven where the cries of the grieving ring like birdsong in our ears.

Silverteeth stood and streched, her muscles shone throught her glossy silver pelt in the sunlight. She then padded on sore paws to the arivals clearing, which was crowded by many star dusted pelts of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
...muscles? I thought Silverteeth was slim. I could also not remember.

The new arrival's form rose slowly from the Galaxy Pool, the place where Medicine cats came for prophesies and cats came when they died. It was a mixture of midnight black and cream dawn color with tiny little stars.

As the new causality slowly emerged, Silverteeth's eyes widened.
Oh, no no no no! Silverteeth gasped, screamed, and ran to the edge of the pool, earning stares and growls. No! My sister... She's not living anymore! The prophecy will never work now!
"Leafshine!" Silverteeth yowled when she fully emerged from the Galaxy Pool. "No, no, no!"
Goddamnit, Mary Sue. At least live until the end of the book smh.

Leafshine opened her brilliant yellow-green eyes and spoke.
"I have found the 'Light'." She blinked and stepped forward. "Now we must defeat the 'Dark'." Her grim, determined gaze scared Silverteeth slightly.
That's a lot of confidence for someone who just DIED

"What?!" Silverteeth stepped back, surprised and horrified. "We- I- we- Kill Embersoar?!"
"That's what is was fortol-" Leafshine broke off, staring at something behind Silverteeth with wide eyes.
Hahaha what is was foretold.

Silverteeth stiffened, her pelt standing on end, feeling a presence behind her.
"Palestripe!" Leafshine half squealed, half wailed like a kit as she zipped around Silverteeth and collided with the presence behind her.
You only knew eachother for like, two chapters???

Silverteeth whipped around to see Leafshine having a reunion with a young looking pale tabby she-cat.
"Hello, dearie!" The tabby purred, nuzzling Leafshine's head. "I didn't expect to see you so soon."
Hahahaha I love how Palestripe is chill with Leafshine being murdered by her Clanmate

"I had to find the 'Light'!" Leafshine purred, beckoning to Silverteeth with her orange tipped tail. "This is Silverteeth, the 'Light'."
"Hello, dear." The tabby she-cat meowed. "I'm Palestripe." She nodded to her amulet. "Now you got a fancy necklace too?"
I'm in love with Palestripe lmao. How do these cats know what necklaces are? I kind of thought they'd call their amulets Twoleg collars.

"Yep!" Leafshine did the talking, walking over to a confused Silverteeth. "We need to destroy the 'Dark."
As soon as her pelt brushed her sister's, a dark orb appeared above their heads, with something not quite visible inside it.
The three cats stared at it as it slowly floated down and exploded into darkness with a loud crack, the light returning almost immediately. A black crescent moon amulet with black ribbon was in its place.
This reminds me of something..

"Woah." Leafshine meowed.
"It must be Embersoar's!" Silverteeth gasped. "Mine came with a flash of light."
"Ha! I think mine had the most interesting arrival of all of ours!" Leafshine snorted, looking down at it.
"Well, it's finally time."
Leafshine dude now is not the time for your superiority complex.

The SkyPride hunting grounds were replaced with a stardust forest. A purple-ish cat with a star on his forehead was sitting in front of them.

"I am Soul." He nodded his head. "Greetings, Light and Living."
"Uh, Hi." Leafshine meowed, looking very confused.
Silverteeth just watched in awe.
"My brother Mars has challenged me many moons ago with Shadow Venom, which he infused with the 'Dark'." Soul blinked. "If he wins, the Prides will never know the light of SkyPride again. No life, only darkness. That's why you must save us all." He bowed his head to the two she-cats. "So the final battle has arrived at last."
Haha what?? No context? Just 'Mars bad, kill dark byee'

He opened his eyes wide, light pouring from them, blinding the two sisters.
"Good luck. May SkyPride light your path forever..."
