Alex POV

"Alexander there is a letter to you from Aaron Burr"

I looked up from my papers and stared at her. She looked worried and sat the letter down at her hand. I walked over to her and notice the letter has been open with failed efforts to make it look like it closed. I glare at her for a moment and she glares at me back then walks out.

I reopen the letter

Dear Alexander,

I'm am slow to anger but I toe the line as I reckon the effects of your life on mine I look back on where I failed and in every place I checked the only common thread is your disrespect(lyrics to obedient servant)

I was so confused what was he talking about? I continue to read

Oh I actually do have something to say.

I grab my things and start to march out the door when Eliza grabs my arm.

"Alexander where are you going"

I look her up and down and frown.

"I think you know Eliza"

She sighed and let go of me

"Please don't start anything Alexander just let him get over it then you guys can talk"

"No eliza he wants to talk now I'll be home later on I promise" I give her a kiss on the forehead and walk out.

Philip's POV

I wake up and realize it is the next day. Shit. I look over to see Theodosia sleeping peacefully she looks so cute with her curly locks dangling over her peaceful eyes. I hate to wake her up she looks so beautiful just sleeping there. But her father might wonder where she is and my parents might worry too. I softly rub her until her eyes start to open.

"Phi-Philip what time is it?" She asks softly

"It's the next day" I say nervously

She sits up quickly with a worried face but just laughs

"I'm so dead" She says rubbing her hands through her hair.

"If your father asks I can explain I'll say it's my fault" I say reassuringly

"Don't worry you got your own parents to worry about don't worry about me" she smiles

I stand up then help her get up. I brush the grass out of her hair and we head back.

Alex POV

I head to Burrs office and see Thomas Jefferson at the door. He turns around and looks scared like really scared. His magenta coat is kind of messed up and his Afro is all over the place.

"Um hey Jefferson"

He looks at me and grins a little

"Hamilton fancy seeing you here Burr was expecting you"

I was shocked. How did Burr know I was going to come here?

"He was?

"Don't be so surprised hamilton he must've sent you and insulting letter and we all knew you would have something to say Burr is real angry"
