My Blessing

Philip's POV

"Philip are you sure you are not going hurt him"
"I just want to talk to him" I say with a resting bitch face

"Hey look" She says pointing into a cafe

I see William sitting at a table by himself.

"Stay out here" I tell Theodosia

I walk in and grab William by his ear and drag him out into an alleyway with Theodosia following us. I throw him down to the ground and grab his neck.

"If Theodosia wasn't here I would've snapped your neck by now"

"Philip" Theodosia calls

"But you won't" William chokes out

"Oh you think I won't you abused my sister and killed my brother don't underestimate me" I say while pushing him down to the ground.

"WILLIAM" I hear someone yell

I see Angie stomping dow the Alleyway as William stands ups. She punches him in the face and he falls back to the ground. His nose starts bleeding.

"You son of a bitch"

She takes out a pistol and holds it to his head.

"ANGIE NO!" I yell

She still has the pistol held to his head.

"Angie listen to me this is your choice but killing him won't bring Alex back it won't take back all the times he cheated and hurt you please Angie don't do this" Theodosia yells

She looks at the pistol with fear and lifts it down. She backs up and drops the pistol on the ground and William picks it up and points it towards up.

"Now which one of you should I shoot first" He says

"Hey negro shouldn't you be working in the fields" He says pointing the gun at Theodosia

My blood starts boiling and I walk forward but Angie and Theodosia hold me back.

"Hahaha I killed one of y'all who says I won't kill you either Hamilton" He says pointing the gun at me

"HEY YOU THERE" The police start running toward us and tackles William down. I see my dad following with 3 other cops.

"Kids go!"

"Dad I'm 22 I'm not a kid"

"NOT NOW PHILIP" Theo yells grabbing my arm

We ran until we found Theodosia's house. All 3 of us ran inside and Burr looked up surprise.

Theo's POV

"Where's the fire?" He asked

"Dad We just came here because Um we were close to getting shot but the Police came in time along with Mr.Hamilton and he told us to run" I explain

"Oh shoot well I'm glad you guys are safe um Philip,Angelica would you like any Tea or anything?"

"No thanks sir" Angie says sitting down

"I'm good" Philip says also sitting down

"Philip I need to talk to you in Private please" Father says while smiling

Philip looked nervous and reluctantly gets up and follows my dad.

"What do you think that was all about?" I ask
"I don't know" Angie says smiling

I roll my eyes.

Philip's POV

I walk into the room and sit in his chair at the corner. He shuts the door and stares at me. It feels like his eyes are trying to burn through my head.

"Um sir?"

"I heard you are trying to marry my daughter"

"Yes I was planning on asking for your blessing"

"Before you brought the ring or after?"

I shrink

"Ho-How do you know sir?"

"Your mother told me but don't worry she thought I've already knew"

I sigh in relief

"Which I should've!" He says glaring at me causing me to shrink more

"I'm sorry sir I totally forgot about asking you and then I remembered right after and then a bunch of stuff happened an-"

"No no it's ok I get it I was nervous when I fell In love with Theodosia she didn't like me at first but soon she fell in love your father pursuaded me to go after her"

"Oh that's wonderful" I say still nervous

"Your a good man Philip and I trust you have good morals and I trust you will forever take care of my daughter"

I perk up

"So does that mean?"

"Yes you have my blessing" He says smiling

I jump up with excitement and hug him tightly.

"YES THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" I say nearly crying tears of joy

"Ok ok lower your voice" He says pulling me off

"Philip please get home safely along with your sister people are growing more and more dangerous these days" He says while looking me in the eye concerned
