With quick steps the young healer of squad 4 called (Y/N) headed to the barracks of division 13. She was nervous. Everybody could see it in the way she was going, no rushing past everyone with a short "hello" to avoid coming late. It was an important task, she was given. A task with high responsibility.

To take care of captain Ukitake's health.

Out of all people of squad 4, which sure would have fought for this job, it had to be her. First she was shocked. The most popular man of soul society was going to stay an hour or two with her alone. It's not like it would be hard to spend time with him. He was the kindest and friendliest man she had ever met. But...
(Y/N) was more worried about herself. With her shy and quiet attitude, she was uneasy how to have a talk with him. Giving him supportive advice or orders. The thought alone made her sweatdrop.
She was aware why captain Unohana insisted to give this task to her. Beside being announced as one of the best healers, she was also part of Kisuke Urahara's research and development group for new healing techniques. She wouldn't be surprised, if he was the reason for this to get her out of her laboratory. But still, the lack of confidence made this small room so comfortable. He always told her that with her abilities, she didn't have to be so shy and stay hidden. Quite ironically to hear such words from a talented genius, who was himself, often a shy and uneasy mess.

"But maybe...i can really help him out...Hopefully my new medicine will work.", she thought excited.

Avoiding jealous faces of servants, (Y/N) finally reached her destination. Stopping in front of Captain Ukitake's door and taking in a deep breath, (Y/N) couldn't but hesitate for a moment.

"I am confident. I am here to help him. I am able to handle this situation and be alone with a man, the admired captain of maybe whole sereitei, for some time..Oh dear...", she thought and was frozen in the spot, after she just knocked at his door.

The sound alone, let her heartbeat increase. She didn't know that on the other side of the door, was a nervous white haired captain already rushing through the rooms to make everything look perfect. Wasn't aware of the man's overexcited smile from ear to ear of the sudden knock beside him. Immediately he stopped in his tracks and turned torwards the door. He was impatient. Full of adrenaline. Never felt such excitment ever before. Finally she was here. Finally he was able to get to know her.

The moment the hell butterfly brought him the information of (Y/N) coming to his place, let his mind go crazy. He even caught himself, jumping slightly of happiness of the news about Captain Unohana choosing her for his daily check up's from now on. His act sure was unpolite. Kind of rude to be relieved that it wasn't someone else, but he couldn't help it.
Since he laid his eyes on this beautiful woman, he couldn't get her off of his mind. For him it definately was love at first sight, but for her?
He greeted her with his infamous smile. A gesture, which every woman turned into a blushing mess, but her charisma was unbeatable.
The moment (Y/N) looked into his eyes with this breathtaking smile of hers, let his heart flutter and cheeks flaming red like a teenage boy.
All his confident was gone and all he was able to do was stay quiet, while Shunsui had a talk with her.
But now that she would be by his side, he got the perfect chance to get to know her. He was thinking about it most of the time. That out of nowhere he got such an opportunity felt like a jackpot.

"Hello? Captain Ukitake?", a sweet voice pulled him back to reality.

"Oh the door. She is waiting!!!", he thought stressed and with one quick move he pushed the door open, only to be met with the beautiful girl, he was eager to meet again. Looking up at him with her shy attitude let his cheeks burn again. How much he had to hold back not to just grab her small form into his arms.
