Sweet and Tender

Waking up from a deep slumber, (Y/N)'s tired eyes slowly fluttered open. After a long time, she was able to sleep well and the reason let her smile softly. Thinking about him always caused her much distress, now it let her heart beat rapidly again. 
Overwhelmed by his caring and loving words, she thought about what to do next. He wanted her back. Cared for her all this time. But could she really do it? Go back and work as a healer again? They had spend one night together. A night, she often thought about. How beautiful, he treated her like his most precious thing in his life. But thinking about it more, it was their desire, their passion, which took over. What if the daily life wasn't like they had expected? Even if he shouted it out loud, normally such relationships were forbidden. Would she have to hide at the back? If it wouldn't turn out well, she would be alone again or had to crawl back like an idiot.

Sighing of those twisted thoughts, she slowly tossed her blanket aside to get up. On her way to the kitchen, she was met with a stunned Kisuke.

"Don't worry everything's fine.",she silenced him immediately, while walking passed him to get breakfast.

"Well...Then why are you here and not.."

"You want to get rid of me or what?", (Y/N) asked annoyed, avoiding his amused chuckle with a slight pout.

"No never sweetheart. I just thought that you would stay longer there, if everything went well with your captain.", He explained while following her grumbling in enjoyment.

"It's not that easy. I can't just go there and life with him.. I have to settle things first. We talked about our past and sorted things kinda out. We just started.. ", (Y/N) grumbled, ignoring the mysterious smirk of  Kisuke, who made himself comfortable at the doorway.

"And don't look at me like you already know more than I do.", (Y/N) added frustrated, quickly getting some distance with the annoying shopkeeper.

"Oh my dear... I always dooo", he called after her and couldn't help it than follow her tracks to annoy her some more. 

The day started like every other. Deliveries with new items for soul reapers had to be unpacked and checked, ordering Jinta and Ururu around to clean the shop and get in between their fights. And finally, her main task, which everybody was looking forward to. Cooking dinner. It started to get one of her favorite hobbies. Humming a tune, (Y/N) was cutting the vegetables for her dish. In between her cooking sessions, (Y/N) always was able to get completely relaxed. Stop thinking about anything. 
Swaying her hips to the tune, (Y/N) got lost in her work, like ever so often. 

"How adorable...", a familiar voice broke through the atmosphere and let her stop in her tracks immediately. Eyes widened her look landed on a white haired captain, who was leaning against the doorframe in his captain uniform, smirking at her shocked form. 

"Captain...Jushiro?! You here?!", she asked shocked. 

Slowly he came closer and took the knife out of her trembling hand. His intimidating aura let her shiver and holding onto the kitchen counter. Inches apart from her face, he observed her beautiful eyes. 

"Is that a problem?", he whispered seductively. His breath brushed against her lips and let her knees get weak. It was real. He was there. Flustered she took hold of her cooking apron to control her nervousness. 

"No... I was just.."

"Surprised? I told you that I will show you how much you mean to me...", Jushiro interrupted her and took her shaken hand to place a soft kiss onto her delicate skin. "And knowing you how much you worry and overthink things, i've want to be here as quick as possible..can't let my chances shrink.", he whispered with a soft smile.
Out of nowhere, he came all the way to her home, just to see her. Touching her chest, she could feel her heart beat faster. (Y/N) realized that she couldn't and didn't want to leave his side anymore. Her heart was stolen by this man, since they first met. Overjoyed she couldn't hold back any longer and jumped into his arms. Snuggling close into his chest, she enjoyed this beautiful chuckle of his. This lovingly gaze and heartwarming smile.
