The Bloodmixian village had already burnt to the ground by the horrors unleashed from Pandora's Box. The three got to the wreckage that is the lord's house, and they found Haeie's ash lying in there. It was still extremely hot, and they couldn't bear it. Just as Shae started leaving the place, Phoenix arrived to the scene.

"Who did this?" She asked. It was only a few seconds past when she entered the wreckage, and she was already sweating.

"A doctor called Haeie." Wolfe answered.

"Why, though?" She asked.

"I have no clue." Said Shae.

"Have you checked for casualties except for this doctor?" She asked.

"Everyone was out of the borders watching the brawl. They had enough time to run away." Said Shae.

"Though they likely have separated, which means we'd have to gather them." Said Heeshe.

Wolfe and Phoenix looked at each other. They both knew it is no good time to choose a leader, so they would have to share the title for now.

A few pieces of concrete rumbled, and they started moving and vibrating brutally.

A horrifying creature crawled out of the ruins. It was human-like, though his body was made completely out of meat and muscles. It had no skin, and he was wet with blood. It's face had no features beside a mouth.

"I am become death..." It growled.

Shae took a step backwards. She had never seen such a strange, horrifying creature.

It jumped at Shae and bit her arm. Its sharp teeth penetrated through her, and some sort of black fluid started to spread through her veins. Heeshe sliced its head off with a sword, and fountains of blood burst out of its cut neck.

Shae started feeling dizzy. The poison was moving quickly through her. She fainted and fell down.

"Get out of here, people." Wolfe said and ran for his own. Phoenix helped Heeshe lift Shae and they ran away from the wreckage.

"Where do we go now?" Heeshe asked.

"Somewhere safe. Maybe one of the other villages can let us live with them." Phoenix suggested.

They got out of the village's borders. The fire was spreading quickly, and Heeshe noticed there was more of those creatures back at the wreckage.

Shae was still unconscious, but Phoenix could still feel her heart beating. They caught up to Wolfe, to tell him where they were heading.

The sun set as the four Bloodmixes ran away from their village. Or at least, what remains of it.

Python was at the horse stables. He was treating his horse, Scar. It got that name for the scar that went through his back; it was just a child when it went with the rest of the army to charge the Bloodmixes, and got shot by an archer.

He was still thinking about Cloak. He had a bloodstain on his forehead from the fight.

When Anaconda asked him whether he found Cloak, he said he didn't find anything. She seemed suspicious, though did not ask any more questions.

Wherever Cloak was, he hoped he was alive.

When he had finished taking care of Scar, he looked back into the forest. The Ashforest and the rest of the wasteland were seen in the far horizon. He looked over to the area where the Bloodmixian village was, and noticed something strange. A cloud of smoke rose above the nearest one.

"Had they activated Pandora?", He asked himself. If he told Anaconda, she would go there and kill all the innocent people. Once he didn't care for them, but the last few months he started to doubt his leader.

Even though he didn't want Anaconda to know, he was curious. He let out Scar and rode him to the smoke, to check what was happening over at the village.

Cloak explained the story to the old woman. He told her stealing Pandora was supposed to be a redemption of some sort, and how the Bloodmixians stole the box. He told her of Python, and what he had found at Algoria's Remnants.

Eventually, his leg got better. He got up from the bed.

"You said you weren't alone here, were you?" He asked.

"We are the keepers of Pandora. This place is our home." She said. "Don't go out of this room, I doubt my friends would be happy to see a Serpent here." She warned him.

"We'll see." He said as he walked out. He then saw around 20 men, eating dinner.

They noticed him, but before they did anything, The woman went out too and blocked their way.

"This is Cloak." She said. "He is a traitor of the Serpents looking for redemption, and he can lead us to the box."

The men looked at him. "What if he lies? " He asked.

"Then we have him for dinner." She said and laughed again. Cloak found her jokes about eating him very daunting.
