A/N:-
I know I had discontinued this story because I had too many ideas for the plot but then I watched this movie where this girl wanted to be a writer but couldn't come up with the article. So her best friend tells her to write the worst article she could and then go forward. Her 1st article doesn't need to be the best, something is better than nothing. So this is my worst, although I'll try my best to not make it too bad.

The loud rattling on keesh's window was what woke her up in the middle of the night. It was Damien who looked like someone was after him with his hair messed up and breathing heavy.

"Oh my God, Damien. Are you okay? Do you want to come in? What happened? Do you want some water?" Keesha would have kept up her questioning if not for Damien interrupting her.

"We need to leave, NOW!!" Damien said taking Keesha's hand in his and pulling her.

"Wait, why do we need to leave?"

"Please don't ask any questions right now Keesha," Damien said looking around as if he would be spotted if he didn't hurry.

"Okay atleast let me leave a note for Damon or he might get worried," Keesha said quickly writing she's going out for a small trip with a few friends for a couple of days on a post it and stuck it on her door.

Damien pulled Keesha out through the window and caught her as she jumped down. Damien carried her and zoomed past the trees behind her house towards the highway where a car was waiting for them. They quickly got in and drove off. Damien introduced Keesha to Lucien, who had been waiting for them in the car and was driving it.

"Where are we going Damien?"

"My cousin Nathaniel." Damien said with a forlorn look on his face.

"My mother died when I was 10. Since then, my dad never looked at me the same way he used to. My mom grounded my dad and made us a complete family. After her death, my father was in a vulnerable state and I was too young to know what was happening. It was too late when I realized my cousin had manipulated and brainwashed my father into thinking I was a rotten seed. Now, my father is on his death bed and I can't visit him because Nathaniel has his a bounty put on me secretly so that once I'm dead,  he can take the throne.'

"I'm so sorry Damien but why are you not fighting back? I thought you were a age old vampire who was strong." Keesha said angry at Nathaniel for doing this to Damien, and at Damien for letting this happen.

"I know I should fight back and take my place but I don't want my dad to die thinking that what Nathaniel is true and that I'm the rotten seed," Damien had his head down and looked  so open and vulnerable in that moment, Keesha's heart bled for him.

She cupped his cheeks and brought his face closer to hers.

"I know it's hard Damien and I'm so sorry you have suffered so much for so long but you need to fight back. You need to show your dad how twisted this Nathaniel guy is and that YOU are his son, the rightful heir. You need to prove to everyone that you are the king, not Nathaniel or anybody else. So wake the fuck up and go fight back."

Damien had never in his centuries old life thought that a weak little puny human would tell him to fight. To think he was so dumb as to let his cousin run free. Keesha was right, he was the rightful heir, The King. He moved forward and kissed Keesha letting all his emotions in that kiss until they were interrupted my a cough.

"Not to disturb you moment or anything but, Hi! I'm Lucien, Damien's best friend and second-in-command," Lucien said looking through the rear-view mirror and grinning at Keesha.

"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Keesha," Keesha felt embarrassed at not noticing him before. Her and Damien were so lost in their moment they had totally forgotten about the other person present in the car.

"Honestly, I have been trying to convince Damien to fight back for ages now. He never listened to me, being the supportive an the best best friend I  am I supported whatever his decision was even though I did not agree with it. Now that you know the whole story, knock some sense into him for me, will ya."

"Oh shut up Luce," Damien waved his best friend off.

"I cannot just up and go fight Nathaniel and his army of supernaturals. Who knows how large of an army he even has."

"And who said you don't have an army of your own? Did you really think I'd just sit and let you sulk your life away running from Nathaniel? I have my people ready to give their lives fighting to get you the throne. I also have my spy in Nathaniel's army giving me updates from time to time. I'm not your second-in-command for nothing. Just a word from you and we can wage a war."

"See Damien, you are not alone. You have me and Lucien and so many other people. You can do this."

"Thank you Luce. Really after this is over you can have as much time off as you want and do whatever you want. Now shall we go kick some ass?" Damien asked smirking and confident he could actually do this.
