"I must admit, in all the time I've been here, I've never met anybody quite like you two,"

I was walking alongside Five and The Handler. We were officially back at the Commission.

"Hazel and Cha-Cha for example, are talented, certainly, but... they never could make a pair like you two," The Handler smiled.

Five and I stayed silent, walking alongside the woman and up into the large building.

"I'd like to discuss the logistics of my family's safety at your earliest convenience," Five finally spoke up. "As well as this body replacement,"

Somebody took The Handlers coat from her and we walked up the stairs.

"Such chutzpah. It's refreshing, I'll admit," The Handler said as Five sped up slightly. "Slow down, Five. All in good time... In fact, now that you've finally agreed to work with us, we've got all the time in the world,"

"Five, Eight, meet Dot,"

Five and I were standing in a large office room, looking at a smiling woman sitting at a desk.

"Oh, hi," she greeted us, her smiled widening still.

"Dot is responsible for all apocalypse matters. In fact, it was Dot here who first flagged your guys appearance in 2019," The Handler explained.

I didn't return the wide smile that Dot was giving me.

"No hard feelings," she smiled.

The Handler turned away from Dot and towards Five and I again.

"Well, you two certainly put us through the ringer," she told us. "Outsmarting two of our so-called best temporal assassins. If that doesn't spell leadership material..."

The Handler had placed her hand on my shoulder and said the last two words very loudly, gaining the attention of the other workers in the room.

"... I just don't know," she chuckled.

She lifted her hand off of my shoulder and walked towards the two small desks that were placed beside each other.

"I suspect you two like a challenge," The Handler smiled, pulling out the two desk chairs. "Which is why I've given you a particularly complex first case,"

She handed a red folder over to me. I didn't even open it before handing it back to Five. This better not be permanent.

"If you have any questions... I'll be right behind you," The Handler said before strutting out of the room.

I had my feet up on the desk, fiddling with a stapler that had been placed on the desk. Five was sitting beside me, determined to find a solution to the case we had been assigned.

"Hiya, Five. How's it going?" Dot asked, smiling up at Five.

Five continued to work, not looking back at the woman.

"I must have utter silence in order to complete this task," he replied.

Dots smile faded and she leaned back down in her chair.
