it all happened too fast, rodrick was determined to ruin greg's night so badly everything around him had turned into a blur.

he pushed past people like some type of mad man, trying to get to the DJ booth as fast as he could. i mean even though he was sabotaging greg's horrid attempt at romance with holly hills, he was going to be able to talk to bill walter by the DJ booth and rodrick was hoping he'd get him on loaded diper at some point.

so there he was, dodging and pushing as many people away from his path before greg could make a move. rodrick wasn't exactly thinking straight, he never was when it came to his own self destruction with him and greg's relationship. it was always bound for catastrophic outcomes.

"outta my way!" he yelled, "comin' through!"

he decided to make a run for it to speed up his pace, but his plans were halted by a sudden figure crashing into him. rodrick was shocked at the strong impact, he had tried to reach out for the person but they had toppled forward and before he knew it, they had fallen face first onto the hard wooden floor of the roller rink.

shit. shit. shit.

it was the only thing running through his head, he felt stupid and didn't know what to do. that fall was as embarrassing as it is and if he were in their position, rodrick would have wanted to disappear in an instant.

"giselle!"

"are you okay!"

the two girls in front of him spoke up, trying to help their poor friend back to her feet as quickly as possible. rodrick tried to speak up and help them but he was immediately frozen when the person he pushed forward turned to face him.

it was like the wind was knocked out of him and he was instantly in a daze.

this person was beautiful. and her nose was bleeding. it felt like one of those cliche scenes in movies when the gorgeous girl finally turns towards the scrawny dorky main character and has him in a complete trance. that was rodrick for ya, except he gave his love interest a bloody nose.

she stared back at him like he was some type of idiot but rodrick couldn't save himself at this point. he was an idiot and he was scared. all he did was stare at her like he was paralyzed in position. first of all her nose was bleeding and he didn't know what to do. he was already starting to feel terrible.

the girl's two friends who were holding onto her tightly, weirdly stared back at the boy, probably wondering why he was so quiet. but rodrick was ashamed for not speaking up sooner, and felt any words he'd say wouldn't cut it.

so he made a run for it, maybe his evil scheme will get his mind off what happened.

"rodrick please put a coaster under your glass!" his mother sighed tiredly, snapping him out of his flashback, as she entered the living room where her eldest son lay on the couch without a care. "i don't have to be telling you this all the time." she groaned, putting the coaster under the glass for him.

"sorry." he shrugged, grabbing the remote and turning up the television.

the jingle of one of the latest commercials on window cleaning liquids began blaring out loudly, immediately capturing his mother's attention.

"aw! i was waiting to hear about this again!" she gushed, moving rodrick's legs off the end of the couch and sitting herself down.

ding!

his phone's ringtone came on, making rodrick grab for his cellular device placed on the carpeted floor. he wasn't going to lie that the tune of the commercial didn't intrigue him too, it was catchy as hell and he didn't want to have it stuck in his head for that long.

so rodrick fought his urge to keep listening and decided to look at whatever notification he had on his phone.

giselleaoki started following you!

rodrick's eyes scanned through the words again and again, trying to really help it settle in his mind.

"YES!" he exclaimed, jumping up from the couch in joy.

"rodrick!"
