Jungkook
For the forth day in a row Taehyung is already in Jin's hospital room when I get there. This time he's sound asleep in a chair next to the bed while Jin is busy reading a book. I don't understand this. The visiting hours just opened, so how can he already be here and on top of that be sleeping? It makes no sense. It's as if he's been here all night. It annoys me a bit since I thought the two of them weren't all that close. Of course, I'm technically not that close to Jin either, but at least we share some type of connection since he made out with me and stuff. They haven't. At least I hope so.
"Oh, hello. Didn't see you there," Jin says as he notices me standing in the door.
"What's he doing here?" I ask right away and I immediately realize how angry I sound. I'm not angry, I swear. I'm just a bit annoyed since I'm technically skipping school just to be the first one here and then he beats me to it anyway. Another reason why this is so strange. Taehyung never skips school. Ever.
"He's just been keeping me company," Jin answers with a shrug.
"He's been doing that a lot lately."
"Are you jealous?" Taehyung suddenly says and I jump at the sound of his voice. I didn't see he was awake. How scary.
I give a short laugh at his question.
"Me? Jealous? Please, what do I have to be jealous about?"
"You seem upset that I got here before you. I assume you wanted to be the first one here." The hell, is he a mind reader now too? How can he be so spot on all the time?
"I'm not upset. I just find it strange that you're here all the time. I didn't see you on the way here either, so it's like you climbed in through the window or something."
They look at each other and snort.
"No way, that'd be silly," Jin says. "He's just slightly quicker than you are."
"Indeed, but I'm about to leave now anyway. I've already been here far to long," Taehyung says and gets up from the chair with a yawn.
"Visiting hours just started," I point out. "You can't have been here more than three minutes."
"Three minutes too long then. I'll see you in school, Jungkook. Oh, and Jin, try the thing we talked about, OK?"
"OK, thanks."
Taehyung leaves and I'm just left confused by this whole thing. What did they talk about? When did they have time to talk?! It makes no sense. Taehyung already has a boyfriend so why is he trying to steal mine- I mean Jin! Why is he trying to steal Jin? Phew, almost thought something crazy there for a second. Jin isn't my boyfriend. He just thinks I'm Satan and wants to make out with me, which is part of the reason why I'm here. Not to make out with him (although I wouldn't complain if that happened), but rather to try and solve the Satan problem.
I sit down on Taehyung's abandoned chair and Jin puts away his book to see what I want. His eyes look somewhat hopeful and even though he's in a hospital bed all patched up he still looks like the most beautiful creature I've ever laid my eyes upon. OK, where did that thought come from? Calm down, Romeo, I thought we came to the conclusion that we weren't in love with him. My mind keeps messing with me recently.
"I've done some research on the hypnosis," I say and I can immediately see how his face falls and he loses interest. "Come on, at least listen to me. I know you don't think anything's wrong, but it could be dangerous if this continues any longer."
"There's nothing for you to fix. I'm completely normal."
"Except you're not. Having illusions about me being Satan is not normal in the slightest. I don't know why you see that, but we're gonna put an end to it."
