Jungkook
"Remind me why I'm here again?" Taehyung asks as he sits down on my bed. "I don't think you ever told me a specific reason. Also, weren't you still upset that I went into Jin's hospital room?"
"I were but none of that matters now. I'm here to prove to you delulus once and for all that this so-called past life of yours is all in your head. It's the hypnosis's fault. I'm 100% sure of it."
He rolls his eyes at me. He clearly still doesn't believe what I'm saying.
"Jungkook, how many times do I have to tell you the same thing? We're not making this up. I have a clear memory of every moment of my past life. It's not imaginary. It really happened."
"Then why don't I have these supposed memories, huh?"
"I don't know."
"Exactly! It's because it's fake!"
"No. It's not," he firmly says. "Even if it were, why would I make up such a strange lie? I'm a lot better at lying than that."
I disregard him and go to the table to find something to write on. I rip out a page from one of my notebooks and shove it into Taehyung's hand. Ge gives me a strange look while I rummage through my drawers to find a pen.
"What is this for?" he asks.
"You're gonna write down some of your fake memories. Preferably as much detail as possible."
"Why?"
"To see if you remember it after I'm done with you."
I finally find a ballpoint pen hidden among my cutlery and when I turn to give it to him he looks at me with a worried wrinkle between his eyebrows.
"Excuse me?" he says. "What are you planning on doing?"
"I've done some studies and I think I've figured out a way to reverse the effects of the hypnosis. If my hypothesis is correct, you should forget all of the hallucinations you've been experiencing."
"For the last time it's not hallucinations, it's memories!"
"If you're so sure of that then I don't see the harm in letting me try it on you."
"I'm not gonna be your guinea pig."
"It's not an experiment! I know how to do it, OK? I have a 99% chance of succeeding. If it really is true memories that are not related to the hypnosis whatsoever, then nothing will happen. You'll have proved me wrong and I'll admit defeat."
He frowns at me, but I can tell he wants to be able to prove me wrong. He takes the pen from my hand and starts scribbling down a whole bunch of stuff on the paper. Once he's done he gives me the paper with a skeptic face.
"The only reason I'm letting you do this is because I highly doubt it's going to work. You have to promise you'll believe us after this."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."
"No, not whatever. Promise me."
"Fine," I groan. "I promise I'll believe your lies if this doesn't work out in my favor."
He nods with a more relaxed look. I take a look at the paper to see what he wrote and none of it really makes any sense to me.
Jungkook dragging me with him to the low-class demons' area to show me his latest skill. In the blink of an eye he decapitated three of them. I was shocked but slightly amused. He was laughing as we ran away from the scene. At that moment I realized he was meant for greatness.
