Jealousy gets the best out of me

Hero's POV

"Bro that trailer is hot as fuck if you ask me. I would have given it a shot already if I were you, you know?" Felix smirks at me after watching the after we collided trailer. It just came out today and I was very excited to see what they did with the trailer. And to say that it is hot is probably an understatement. The fans are going to be so happy once they see the whole thing.

"Thanks bro but I have no idea what you're talking about." I most definitely know what Felix is talking about, but I don't want to give it to him so easily.

"Oh, come on, who you playing at. Josephine is probably the hottest female alive out there right now." I know Felix doesn't mean it like that but an instant wave of jealousy rushes over me. I just can't stand other people talking about her like that. She should belong to me but I'm not quite sure how that should work with us living on different continents and all that stuff.

"Felix, shut up." I just tell him, and he smirks at me. This little wanker probably thinks about how to fuck me up even more.

"You know if you don't want to take that chance, I'm more than willing to try out myself. I know that your code is her birthday and I also know that her number is on your top list so don't think I wouldn't do it." His words just increase my anger.

"Fuck you Felix. Honestly." I get up ready to leave him and let him walk on his own to Morgan's flat. I know he only wants what is best for me, but this is bugging me since the first movie. I like Josephine... A lot but I just don't know if she feels that way for me. Sure, during filming we had a thing, both times. Also, while promo last year but whenever we get home after that she seems to forget about me. And the insecure idiot I am, I never asked her what that's about.

Felix comes towards me closing his front door that I just opened. "Hero, come on, you know I didn't mean it like that but what are you waiting for? Hate to say it but you're probably not the only guy out there that wants her." Another wave of anger and jealousy, thanks Felix.

Sighing I say, "I know you're right it's just .. what if she rejects me" I know I sound like a lost love puppy but that is what she does to me.

Felix just looks at me as if I had lost my mind. "Are you for real? Why would she hook up with you in the first place? Not to mention that it was more than once and after a year of you two not really seeing each other." He lets out a frustrated sigh "Why don't you just call or text her and ask her?" Is it really that easy?

I huff. "Fine I'll do it, but if she rejects me, I'll kick you in the ass for making me do this." He just laughs at me.

Hero: Hey Jo, how are you? Everything ok in L.A?

Her answer comes immediately.

Josephine: Hey stranger. Everthing's fine by me. What about you? What's that London life doing? XO

She calls me the stranger. Really? I haven't heard from her in ages.

Hero: Stranger yourself, haven't heard from you in ages. What have you been up to? I'm great, glad being with my family and friends. I'm currently at Felix's place, have you already seen the trailer?

Josephine: Sorry, been busy keeping up with my friends. Tell Felix Hi from me. I haven't really.. I'm out with Mia, Alistair and a few other guys, they decided to watch it, so I guess kind of picked it up. How do you think it turned out?

The only part from her message that stuck in my had is the fact that she wrote that she is out with other guys. I know most of her friends so they must be strangers or what am I missing. Not being able to hold back my curiosity and jealousy I instantly ask her who they are.
